• Why did you want the procedure?

  I choose to have the procedure because I was only a 34A, one was bigger then the other and I just felt uncomfortable and lacked confidence.

• Why did you choose MYA?

  Every time I researched, MYA always came up. I really liked the fact they had a forum, twitter, instagram and facebook. Its easy to keep in contact with others and nice to read every ones stories – the good and bad.

• How was your consultation?

  All the girls at MYA are lovely – very sweet and bubbly. When ever I have a question etc all I need to do is send a text and they get back to me. My surgeon was DR Frati. He is very quiet and straight to the point! but very informative and will answer any questions you have.

• How was the day of your procedure?

  My admission time was 730 am. I arrived at 745 as we got lost walking back from the car park! I was shown to my room straight away, got given my gown, stockings etc also done a urine test. Another nurse came in to do my temp and blood pressure and the guy who was giving me the anaesthetic came in to ask some questions. Once that was out of the way Dr Frati came in, he took some pictures and drew on me and told me he would be ready for me in 30-45 mins. By 930 I was being taken down to surgery – the guy who took me down was lovely! Having the anaesthetic wasn’t a problem! I then woke up in recovery and was taken straight to my room.

• How was your recovery?

  Im only 1 day post op and its going okay so far. I’m not really in pain, just uncomfortable and bruised.
