• Why did you want the procedure?

  ‘I wanted rhinoplasty done because it’s something I’ve always wanted – dreamed of in fact. I didn’t want to be looking back on my life regretting not getting it done. My journey with Mya was quick, after my first visit I wanted it done straight away – booked a date and just went for it.’ 

  I’m now recovering from my op, which was 18/12/16. My cast comes off 28/12/16, and I can’t wait! 

• Why did you choose MYA?

  I chose Mya because it has a great reputation in the cosmetic industry. I have recently been a patient with other cosmetic surgeries (I won’t name them, but they are claimed to be some of the best) and I didn’t like the process for those.

• How was your consultation?

  My Mya consultation was in Manchester, my patient coordinator was so friendly, down-to-earth and said it straight – because to be honest – life’s too short for bull****! My coordinator was also a Mya patient herself , so it was nice to receive an empathetic approach.

• How was the day of your procedure?

  My procedure day was just a blur. Naturally, I was a bag of nerves because I had never had an operation before. The staff in First Trust Hospital were so lovely and caring and knew exactly what they were doing.

• How was your recovery?

  I’m still recovering. My rhinoplasty experience has been alright – day 2 was the worst for me – not in pain but just because I couldn’t leave the house and my wifi was almost down!

  In pain, my pain has not been higher than a 2/10.

• Are you happy with your results?

  waiting for my cast to come off! eeee!
