• Why did you want the procedure?

  I have always wanted to have bigger boobs but once I had my son and breast fed I felt it was essential to build my confidence

• Why did you choose MYA?

  I had heard so much good things about MYA and after doing plenty of research online about the company I decided it was the right choice for me and so I booked in a consultation and knew from then it was where I wanted to go

• How was your consultation?

  All consultation I had were great, very informative and gave me every bit of information I needed

• How was the day of your procedure?

  So my op day was yesterday 13.05.16 and couldn’t be happier with my experience! MYA and all the team have been a treat!!
  My admission time was 10am, I arrived at Fitzroy for 9.30 and was taken straight up to my room in the ward where I was given my robe, slippers and pregnancy test by the nurse and signed some forms. Within the next 30mins Dr Frati visited my room to take pictures, draw on my chest and confirm sizing etc. He then said he’ll see me shortly. Another visit from the nurse was done to check my height, weight and go over any allergies, blood pressure, temp and other questions. This was all done before 11. Then at 11.30 the anaesthetic came to go over getting my anesthetic and he said I’ll be taken down within the next hour. Which was true at 12.40 I was collected by the nurse and taken up to theatre, when I arrive I was greeted by another nurse who went over everything that was happening, showed me to my bed where there was about 6 other nurses and I was introduced, then before I could even ask in came the anethesist and I was out within the minute. I woke up in the same room and was given paracetamol for the pain then after a few blood pressure checks was taken back to my room in the ward all 2.30pm.
  I was visited regularly by my 2 nurses Daniele and Rowena both absolutely amazing. I was given tea and toast an hour later then was made to wait until 6.30 when my drains were removed, left boob hurt then right one was slightly wedged in so he had to tug fairly hard to pull it out which I must admit was very painful and made me feel sick but once it was over and I was given a fan to cool me I felt immediately better and it in general made the overall pain less after my drains were out.
  I waited another hour and was discharged by 7.30pm

• How was your recovery?

  Only 2 days PO and in some pain and discomfort but mainly from strapping

• Are you happy with your results?

  Yes! Well from what I can see cannot wait to see them properly without strapping
