• Why did you want the procedure?

  I’m a naturally curvy hourglass figure, and after having my first baby I lost the weight, but lost my natural bust too. They were empty and small, and I didn’t feel in proportion but we knew we wanted a second baby. After having my second baby, I didn’t lose as much weight but I still finished at an 8-10 and I had empty boobs which didn’t suit my curvy frame. I knew that this was the answer.

• Why did you choose MYA?

  I know a few people who have used MYA so I felt safe off their reccomendations.

• How was your consultation?

  It was good, I wasn’t really nervous as I knew exactly what I wanted and I booked my surgery there and then at my first consultation. I even had an idea of sizes after seeing my friends surgeries.

• How was the day of your procedure?

  It was great. I arrived early as I expected traffic to be a bit worse but that didn’t matter. The nurse seen me into the room and did my paperwork. Dr Traynor and some other people came to do more paperwork and have a chat, Dr Traynor drew on me and I changed into my lovely looking gown, paper knickers and stockings. Within 15 minutes, I was being walked down to theatre. The next thing I know is I woke up and said that was quick. I got taken down at just gone 11 and I woke up by 12. I had a few hours sleep after that, tea and toast as I was starving and they sent me home. We left around half past 3.

• How was your recovery?

  I didn’t have a proper fitting bra on for the first few days so I could feel the implant moving more, I was burning and pulling but as soon as I changed my bra, 4 days PO, I felt great. Within hours I could feel a difference. It didn’t hurt at all, it just ached, pulled or burnt.

• Are you happy with your results?

  I am only 10 days PO now so I can’t say, but up to now, yes.
