• Why did you want the procedure?

  As mentioned in my profile I was a small A/B (depending on which boob you looked at)! I have wanted this done since I was about 16 and am now nearly 30 so I decided to take the plunge. Best decision I made.

• Why did you choose MYA?

  I decided to go with mya after visiting another company and having an initial consult. I’d also done lots of research but when it came down to it I felt very comfortable with my PC (Lauren) and I also like the guarantees you got with them.

• How was your consultation?

  My first consultation with Dr Mounir was funny. He is a character, but I felt very relaxed and comfortable he got my brief. He explained all the possible complications and gave me three sizes to chose from to get my desired look. 300cc / 325cc / 350 cc. I opted with the 325cc as when I tried these on I felt the most natural.

• How was the day of your procedure?

  The day of my procedure I turned up at 8am having had only a few hours sleep due to a flight delay back from my holiday! Not the best start. I was there on my own, but all the staff were lovely. I felt very comfortable and excited!!! I looked at the clock as they put me to sleep and it was 12.50pm next thing I knew it was 2.20pm I was back in my room and I had new boobs! I was in and out of sleep for a few hours, had some tea and toast and then my mum came and picked me up around 6pm and I went home. With 2 much larger assets than when I arrived!

• How was your recovery?

  I am still recovering as only 3 days so far since my op. I have been very sore and they feel very high and firm at the minute. It’s difficult to get used to sleeping upright but you wouldn’t be able to sleep any other way at first and movement is restrictive and getting up and down is difficult as you arm movement is very difficult.

• Are you happy with your results?

  So far I’m happy with them although haven’t fully seen them yet!
