• Why did you want the procedure?

  Breast augmentation has always been something that had always been at the back of my mind since I was a teenager! Now, 8 years after  having 2 children & breastfeeding, I have finally took the plunge!

• Why did you choose MYA?

  I have researched lots of companies & MYA were always the ones that stood out for me. I met MYA & the surgeon (Mr Traynor) 7 years ago but I didn’t go through with it for personal reasons, so 7 years later, I went back to MYA & Mr Traynor who recently carried out my procedure & couldn’t be happier!

• How was your consultation?

  My consultation was with Charlotte at Liverpool, she is lovely. Very helpful & re-assuring. I pestered her after my surgery! But she was always there to talk to & put my mind at ease.

• How was the day of your procedure?

  The day of my procedure was so relaxed. I got there at 11am, changed into a gorgeous gown, paper knickers & stockings! Went through all the medicals with the nurse. Then Mr Traynor came in & drew on me. The Aenethasist came in & went through medicals again. I walked down to theatre around 2pm. Woke up around 3.30pm in a bit of a daze! Just happy to have boobs. Felt so tight more than pain. Nurse put my Macon bra on & I had tea & toast, had a little sleep then I went home around 8pm. Overall, it was a very pleasent experience!

• How was your recovery?

  I am 13 days post op, still swollen but not in as much pain, just the odd niggle & tight feeling is not as bad.

• Are you happy with your results?

  I am happy so far. Can’t wait to see the final result!
