38dpo incission seeping

I noticed this morning i had a little white bit on my incission which was causing abit of pain which is what made me look in the first place. Just been in the shower an when i took my bra off there was a bit of blood, only a really tiny amout an a little bit of yellow but im 6weeks on friday so wouldnt expect it to do that unless there was something going on there?? Advice/opinions please xx

Hey Laura, I would call the nurse ASAP as anything like that could be an infection – it might not be but better to be safe and ring them. I assume they will see you soon to check them. Hope it goes well and try not to worry xx

I have sent them a picture this morning they think its a stitch so have asked me to go in at 2pm today. It doesnt look like a stitch to me but at least they can have a look an see what they think xx

I thought we had dissolvable stitches??? Surely they would dissolve by now??

I dont think it is a stitch to be honest. But at least if i go they can have a look. Hopefully nothing but didnt want to leave it incase it was an infection starting xx

It was some stitches that had been pushed out she pulled 3. Hopefully thats all it was she said it looked ok xx

I am as well 6 weeks post op this Friday and had totally same issue with a bit blood and dot of yellow and numb lower half of boob://// Going there this Saturday for a check up and can’t go there easrlier ….how did it go??? Please let me know, hope everything is well xx

I have also some stitches which didn’t dissolve yet, are you in any pain at all? X

I did have some shooting pains there but now they have been pulled thats gone but just abit tender now from pulling them out xx

I think she’s going to pull mine one as well hope she will let me to wear a regular bras, I am having a hard time to find the proper sport bra for me =/ Are going back for a check up again?

No i dont have to go back now because i saw my surgeon last week so they cancelled my 6 week appointment an said they will see me when im 6 months unless i have any problems. An i forgot to ask about bras! Lol xx

I thought I will see my surgeon this Saturday but they told me he want see me earlier then 3 months post op! And I have heard mixes about bras someone saying it’s not recommend wired bras till 6 months or even a year! Will see what nurse will tell me! Xx
