So I’m 5DPO today, found myself reflecting on the whole experience today and I still can’t believe I did it. For years and years I spent hating my body I just wish I did it sooner

I was around 34b pre op, this is what I was measured at but I’d definitely say I was more of an a if not aa. Hoping to measure a C/D now will attach a picture below of my progress so far.

Post op girls, when did you go braless for your first night out? And also when did you start wearing other underwear, unwired/underwried bras? I’ve kept my Macom bra on and plan to for the majority of the 6 weeks but on occasions would like to slip into something less supportive. When is it safe to do so from your experiences?

I absolutely love them so far and cannot wait for the drop and fluff to happen! Anyone thinking about doing it just do it! Hands down the best decision I’ve made in my life so far.

@kerrie1989 hi Kerrie, thank you!! I had unders, full projection with 345cc’s. I’m recovering fine now, waking up 6 dpo with barely any pain just aching a little. First few days were tough though, I was experiencing a lot of pain and bloating which really got me down, definitely all worth it though x

@sophie, glad your recovering well now! I’ve heard 5po is the turning point. Have you got the breast band? Or did you have drains? Xx

@kerrie1989 I don’t have a breast band, my surgeon didn’t advise me to get one. I didn’t have them high profile so I think that’s why I didn’t need one? I’m not quite sure. And no I didn’t have drains! When is your op? X

I wouldn’t go braless for 6 weeks. There’s no point risking your surgery for a night out.
I was in my supportive bras day and night for probably about 7 weeks. Then started wearing normal bras but introduced them slowly as they were quite uncomfortable to begin with.
I don’t know what the Macom bras are like but you could always get different post op bras. Mine were realy comfortable. Both from Matalan xx

@kateld thanks Hun. I didn’t have hp I went for full projection. I think it just depends on what look you want. HP sit higher on the chest so will look bigger n more round. I specifically said to my surgeon that I wanted a natural look so he advised that I not go high profile. But with that being said they are sitting quite high atm. I bet your so excited only a few days to go! Xx

I really am so excited, I can’t stop thinking about it my belly keeps turning over I’m not even scared I’m so excited, I’m not bothered about the pain one little bit, the only thing im still debating is my size and I’m stressing as it’s getting closer and I really don’t know if to go with 270 or 300 hp I have googled the difference in size measurements but can’t seem to find them xx

@sophiejayne95 They look amazing! You must be so pleased 🙂

When I spoke to my nurse she said I could start wearing non wired bras after my 6week post op appointment but not to wear underwired ones for 6 months. Xx

@kateld aw bless you. The waiting is definitely the worst part but then you wake up with new boobies and it’s all worth it haha. Are you going under or over the muscle? If under just bare in mind you might lose a little size as you’ve got that extra layer of muscle on top. Are you just deciding on the size on the op day or do you have to let your surgeon know beforehand? Whatever one you chose will be he right one though, I’m sure they will look amazing! X

@sunshine534 thank you lovely. I am, still trying to get used to the feeling but so happy!

Oooh okay thanks for that, will definitely just keep my sports bra on for the 6 weeks then just to be safe! I’m just so eager to go out and get lots of new underwear haha xx

@kerrie1989 aww you will be fine, just think after it will all be worth it! I’ve heard drains aren’t as bad as they sound, I was speaking to a girl about them and she said they didn’t hurt at all it was just a strange feeling when they were pulled out and I’m sure you only have to wear the breast band for around a week post op too. Not long to go now though, hope it all goes well for you x

Mine are going to be unders that’s what’s making me thing go bigger as I have read you lose a lot of the implant under, I have contacted my surgeon and he said he has got 250 270 and 300 implants for me, so on the day I think I’m going to tell him I’d rather go with the bigger size. X

Hi Sophie . All surgeons are different, I had my op on the 11th Jan and I didn’t have to wear nothing for the first week unless I felt I wanted too – now I am wearing a macom but take it off to let them breath for a time when I’m in the house. It’s never been proved that bands and bras make any difference (so 80% of surgeons say) as it’s all to do with gravity / swelling all sorts of factors so I would say you would be absolutely fine xx
