I am 2 years post surgery and have some rippling on my right implant, after roughly a year, I noticed a lump on my right breast but had it checked out and turned out to be fatty tissue which had moved when implants were inserted, but since finding the lump, I get sharp pains and aching in my right breast. Has anyone else experienced this? I don’t know whether it’s normal or I should get it checked out again? It’s really quite painful ????

I’m new to this but have done lots of research.
I would most defiantly get in touch with your surgeon.

Hi Sarah, I’ve had a similar problem. I had shooting pains and aching in my left breast. I’m 4 years post surgery. I went to have a scan I was worried about them and all was fine. They said it was just the implant and tissue growing over my milk glands. Anyway since then I’ve lost a stone and now I have awful ripples on the tops of both breasts whoch are always visible. I had a look at my paperwork and it says I had sub facial so I think that means half is under the muscle and half isn’t. Not too sure.
