    Hi girls.
So I’m just over 2 weeks from having an uplift and 350cc mod partials and im still feeling in quite a bit of pain. I know it sounds silly as it’s only been 2 weeks so you would think it was normal but I see so many girls saying their all fine and back to normal so its making me question.
My boobs are still tender to touch, twinge when i move in certain positions and and hurt when going over bumps in the car (not that ive gone back to driving yet)
Have any of you experienced same thing and is it all quite normal?
I also have a 7 month old baby which I can’t pick up yet but even holding him on my lap is uncomfortable.
I was told by the nurse in healing nicely but just need a bit of reassurance from girls who have been through the same thing xx

Hi Lea, I think we went in around the same time. I was in on 5th Oct for lift and 250cc implants. I am exactly the same, although I have gone back to work this week and driving, I am very sore still, have to hold them a lot, it hurts still to move, I can’t lift much and bumps in the car kill! I also have a small blister from dressing which is v sore and red still so nursing that. It’s the twinges that get me, my skin is very sensitive. I’m swearing by pure aloe Vera gel, the marks from the strapping have gone completely and my skin has repaired itself incredibly with this gel. I will use it on my scars too when I can. Jess x

Hi Jess. I remember you said we were in the same day 🙂
I’m glad your going through the same thing (not that I want you to be in pain) but that it’s all normal lol. I was starting to doubt myself and think my body wasn’t accepting the implant or something. Worrying I know!! I guess people all heal differently. Lucky to those that are fine by the 1st week.
I’m going to be driving for the first time tomorrow so hoping I’ll be ok.
How are yours healing? Are they dropping yet? Xx

Hey Lea, sorry your so uncomfortable xx I wake up really really sore every morning and need hubby to push me up out of bed if that makes sense. If I sneeze I have to hold them as that hurts! Turning still hurts I get that tearing burning feeling. Im getting loads of neurological shooting pains and omg they do not like this cold weather, they are so sensitive! Sad song nipple on, sneeze nipple on haha. I’m definitely feeling more mobile and normal though and not taking any pain relief although I think I nearly did sat night I’d been out all day with my youngest. I think I definitely notice when Ive done to much xxx

Hi Vic, so glad I’m not the only one then. Felt a bit stupid for asking as I’m not underestimating the procedure but so many women recover quite quickly.
I get those same feelings you do. I stopped taking painkillers a few days ago coz I felt more mobile but Im constantly holding onto my boobs, I feel like they ‘re gona fall off sometimes lol. I’ve just changed from a Macom bra to the M&S high impact post op bra and it’s much more supportive.
    How are yours doing now?
Mine have gone a funny shape, a bit square looking but Im guessing its all part of the process? Xxx

Hi Lea, how was driving for the first time? I’m in agony today, had to go back on the pain killers tonight. But apart from that I’m seeming to be healing well. My right one seems to have dropped a little and is much softer to touch, how much should I expect them to drop??i have my friends wedding in a week so got to try and find a dress to cover this sexy bra!!! xx

Hey Jess. Yeah it was ok just had to take it easy. Luckily the gears on my left side where it’s not so bad.
Mine are getting softer too & the nurse said their dropping but how do you know when they’ve fully dropped? Are you supposed to feel it??? :-/
Sorry to hear your in pain though, mine is really tender and I can’t fully lay down yet i’m still at a tilt. It feels like something moves and I’m not sure how normal that is? I’ve got my 3 wks post op on Friday so I’ll ask and find out xx

Hi Kate – I find the m&s one is def more supportive than my Macom. Just a bit tight xx
