I am booked in for my re org and uplift surgery on Tuesday and was interested to hear any hints and tips which have aided recovery, sleep, scars etc. Also for anyone has had 300cc implants. Is 60-75ccs a huge difference? Thanks everyone xx

Hiya hun I had uplift and implants 9days ago and all I can say is get all the cushions you can get neck pillows icepacks a couple of diff bras and larger ones with lower flatter bands for yours incisions and if at all possible either rent an a electric recliner chair or buy a second hand one off eBay or fb I bought one and it literally has been a life saver I’ve tried my bed and thats a no no I’ve tried the sofa and again that isn’t great either but the electric recliner that I bought has helped immensely lol xx

Thank you, I’ve brought 2 macom ones and 2 m&s ones in 2 different sizes. I will buy one from the clinic if needed too. I didn’t think of ice packs! I will be out looking tomorrow. I have also brought a V pillow and lots of pillows.. did you feel much pain or is it more tollarable? I’ve had a c section so not aftraid of the pain, just want to be prepared lol xx

I don’t like the macom I took it off after the first or second day and ordered some more from asda, just felt too tight and abit itchy round the straps, these asda ones are sooo much better for me anyway lol ,I’ve got the v pillow it’s been a god send lol and the day of the surgery and day after honestly was a breeze not much of anything if I’m honest the days afterwards is really uncomfy your chest is just so tight that you feel abit like you can’t breathe and they are heavy so the pressure for me is the worse thing but the absolute worst of it for me is my back I’ve been in more pain on my back than anywhere else but I’m day 10 tomorrow and I can defo tell the difference in standing straighter moving quicker etc so in my experience it’s not ad bad as I thought it would be. we’ve got 4 kids and my husband only had 3 days off work after my operation so I’ve had to prepare for that aswell, like buying paper plates plastic cups plastic cutlery loads of easy meals, loads of snacks ,drinks etc.so if I can do it anyone can lol good luck hun let me know how you get on xx

Hi Jen I’m 9 days post op with 310 uplift and implants. I would defo reccomend a v pillow for sleeping, luckily I’ve slept like a baby most nights! I’ve got x2 macom and bought x2 m&s bras in a 34D but they are too small and really cut into me. Recovery hasn’t been bad at all and nowhere near as painful as I expected, I kept on top of my meds for the first 3 days and took arnica tablets for the bruising. Xxxx

Hi Lex, I’m feeling surprisingly ok. Feeling stiff but all good. The dizziness and sickness was the worst but that’s about gone now. Not liking the big strap and I cannot wait to see the results on Tuesday when they take off the bandages but it all looks fab and the surgeon is pleased with the results. Ended up having 295cc and he thinks il be a DD/E cup xx
