I have just been to see Dr Traynor who was great but has told me I need to have an uplift as well as implants. Came as a bit of a shock but I wasn’t being realistic myself in terms of what needed to be done to get my desired result. I have low breasts due to significant weight loss in my early 20s. I have no kids but do eventually want them but not for another 5-7 years. Has anyone else been in a situation like this and would it be worth it at my stage in life? I am soooo unhappy with the way they look atm.

I think my biggest fear is the surgery itself as I know an uplift is more intense and you need to stay overnight.

Heya Helen, I’m 33 and I’ve been told I also need an uplift but only one breast as I’ve got tubular breast and asymmetry and also very little tissue due to weight loss.
I was hoping that it wasn’t going to be the case but if I’m going to do it I want it done properly as have wanted this procedure for years now,but still cane as a shock too though as it’s an over night stay. I’ve only had a e consultation and haven’t spoken to a surgeon yet. A different surgeon might not suggest a uplift? Good luck with you decision sorry I can’t be much help just thought sharing might help xx

I’m struggling with this myself at the minute. Was hoping for just implants but have been told on the econsultation that I’m borderline for uplift but all surgeons want to do an uplift. I think I’m more shocked because even though I am dissatisfied with the shape etc, I didn’t think there was an issue with my nipples, I really didn’t want my nipples touching, mainly due to the scaring but don’t know what to do now x

Hi Helen 🙂 Im 27 and going for an uplift and BA in April. I’ve read from 100’s of women that getting a lift is SO worth it in the long run. If you are already slightly sagging and get implants alone.. it will eventually weight your breast tissue down and you will need a lift in a few years time .
