I’ve been researching Vaser Lipo for about a year now and I’m so desperate, I’m just worried about the pain afterwards? Was hoping to hear from someone who had been through it and knows what they’re talking about!
I’m also worried about what family and friends will say if I decide to go ahead with it, but I’m so unhappy with how I look. I’ve tried diet and exercise and nothing with shift this fat!
    Any advice welcome!

    Hi Lauren,
I had vaser 12 days ago on my lower and upper abdomen. I too tried dieting and exercise on a regular basis, but still had this stubborn area of fat that wouldn’t go. I cannot stress enough how happy I have been throughout my whole experience. The pain from my surgery wasn’t bad at all, however I found the vest/garment uncomfortable for the first 4 days or so. 12 days on and I’m in no pain at all and minimal swelling. I didn’t tell my family before I had it done, only my husband. I then told my parents and sister after. They were disappointed, but they respected that it was my body and that I wanted to be happy. It is difficult to hide the garments so I couldn’t keep it a secret. I do not have a single regret about having the procedure done, I only wish I had had it done sooner 🙂 xx

Wow congratulations! That’s exactly my thoughts, I’ve worked hard to lose 2.5 stone and I’m still not happy.. I really think this is what will finally make me feel better about myself!
Did you have to take any time off work?
Did you have General Anaesthetic or were you just sedated?
Have you noticed a difference already after the 12 days?
Sorry for all the questions, it makes me so excited talking about it! xxx

I’ve had two children so struggled to loose the last bit of weight afterwards, plus I’d always had an unusual shaped abdomen and wanted to get rid of it. Yeah I was completely unaware of what had happened, which I was happy about. I remember being told I’d feel a sharp scratch then I just remember coming round with my husband next to me. I job share so I didn’t have to take any time off work. I had the procedure on the Friday and then went back into work on the Wednesday. I’ve just added 2 pictures to my profile from the day before the procedure and a week after- feel free to add me to view them. I am really happy with the results. I saw the nurse again today and I noticed a few bumps appearing, but I have just booked in for a lymphatic drainage massage so hopefully they will clear. I honestly am incredibly happy 🙂 As I said earlier, the only downside is the garments. xxxx
