Hi, I have wanted a breast reduction for years and finally decided back in August now’s the time! Had a couple of consultations but then someone recommended Mr Kazzazi at Park Hospital Doncaster. I liked him straight away, he made a lot of sense, no hard sell just facts and food for thought! …..So my surgery is booked for Dec 10th, excited and nervous at the same time, having a reduction and uplift. Any tips and advise would be grately appreciated please ie procedure when you get there? What should I take? Where do people get their support bra’s from? Major do nots for after the op? Do most people have the drains? Made a lot of notes from the forum which is a great help but feedback from anyone who has been under Mr Kazzazi would also help, and to see before and after picts. Currently a 38GG………Thanx x

Hi! I had my reduction about 2 months ago and a v pillow is a must as you will have to sleep up right for a while, also comfy clothes to go home in from the hospital, preferably nothing that has to go over your head as I can tell you from experience that it really hurts to put things over your head straight away! ?
Straws are good to have as they help with drinking.
Dry shampoo as you won’t be able to shower for a little while.
Try to put everything in places that will be easy to reach before you go for the op, I didn’t think it through and would have to wait around for someone to come home haha.
Just try not to push yourself after the op and stay resting as I felt fine by day 3 and over did it a bit.
I got post op bras from asda online at £8 and found these to be the comfiest as the band at the bottom sat low and away from my scars, they were also affordable so I got lots as you have to have clean ones everyday.
Hope everything goes really well, good luck xxx

Hi Rebekah, thanx for your reply very much appreciated. Bought V pillow today after reading other comments a few weeks ago. Will pop into Asda this week to check out the bra’s too, did you get the size your surgeon recommended? Did up have drains in? How are you feeling hun, still pleased to went ahead with your surgery? Thinking the no shower/bath will get to me most lol. Did your stitches dissolve? Soooo many questions racing thro my mind ? it’s my final meet with surgeon on Wed before the op. Thank u xx

yeah I chose to go to the smaller side of what the surgeon suggested, and I didn’t have any drains in.
I have honestly never felt better! I’m turning 23 this week and for the first time I feel confident and good about getting dressed up and going out with friends, I do it all again if I had to.
Yeah they dissolved, just had to have a few bits externally trimmed to help them heal but I’m so happy with it all!
Awh I’m sure you do! I was thinking about backing out right up until going in but I’ve wanted it for years so too the plunge and I’m so glad that I did!
You’ll be absolutely fine, hope everything goes really well! Feel free to message me with anymore questions xx
