    Hi ladies,

I’m going under the muscle and I’m so worried about the after pain, that I’m considering asking for overs. Does anyone have any advice to take my mind off it? X

I’m 13 days post op now and my pain was nothing!! I went under the muscle and it was so much easier than I thought it would be

I’m 3 days Po with 350cc unders. It’s uncomfortable which is to be expected but not unbearable. The painkillers help, a good comfy sports bra and decent pillows x

I’m 3 days post op as well and it’s more discomfort rather than pain, no where near as bad as I thought it would be, you’ll be absolutely fine x

Im very glad i had unders, it’s not really a pain it just aches, basically as if you’ve done a whole day at the gym on your chest muscles? It gets better very fast:) xx

Its nothing to worry about at all just take your pain killers regularly and get some ice packs they’re a life saver!

I’m 6 days post op and mine are under the muscle, I think the first 2 days are the worst but as people have said above, it’s more uncomfortable and tightness rather then pain. By day 3 I felt loads better and each day gets better. I was pretty much back to doing everything as normal by day 4 xx

Def more discomfort then pain for the most part … I’m a month po & just went back to the gym today … Minor discomfort but had a friend helping me out & only issue I have currently is still can’t get comfy at bedtime

I’m 4 days post op and it’s not that bad just make sure you have a week of chilling afterwards. Under muscle is much better in terms of risk of flipping and looks more natural. Makes sense if you’re doing it to do it properly. Pain killers they give you are amazing, you’ll be fine x

    Hey
I’m 1 week post op – 365cc high profile under muscle.
I’d say under muscle defo outweighs the cons of overs.
Under muscle may be more uncomfortable but less chance of implant contractor and rippling.
Pain wise for me I’ve actually not been that bad. Was honestly expecting to be bed bound and not able to even brush my own teeth (after watching YouTube videos of others) bit surprisingly I was able to and I wasn’t too uncomfortable either.
    Defo go unders!! X

Hey. I went under the muscle and I was so worried like you. I am the biggest baby ever about pain but I can honestly say it was nothing compared to what I had imagined. I think I prepared myself for the absolute worst. I had my op on a Monday and I was back at work by the following Monday and I also had a broken foot. I taught PE at school and everything. The drugs are a life saver so I would take exactly as they say even if the pain subsides I’d keep taking until you’ve finished the course. The only problem I had was lifting myself up when I was laid in bed. My boyfriend had to pull me up but other than that it was fine x

Pain is so subjective- my friend had unders and was fine, minimal pain. I had 375 uhp unders with empty pockets to begin with and I couldn’t do anything for myself first week, and took about three weeks to actually feel human again. I’m now 9weeks post op and so glad I went with unders. It’s like child birth, painful at the time but you soon forget about the pain-it’s all worth it!
