I had my surgery on 23rd November. In January I had to go back in to have my right implant removed as the implant pushed back out through the skin. I had the implant replaced in March and I’m sad to say that my skin rejected again. I then went back in to have thatbimllant removed and a smaller one replacing it. I have been unlucky and it seemed like the smaller implant was going to reject but thankfully the lovely nurses at chelmsford said to try a pico plaster which helps wound healing. My right boob is now three months post op and I went without a bra for my wedding. I have been in a and out of the chelmsford clinic and their after care is fantastic. Mr sleiter has been amazing too very kind and caring about it all and fitted me in when I needed to be seen. So far so good the scar which is prominent but it shows me everyday that good things can come out of bad. All the girls at chelmsford clapped and cheered the night I got signed off. It was a very long road but we all got there
    Thank you everyone

    Hi Claire,

That’s amazing news! So glad to hear you’re better and happy!!!!
When you say the implant pushed out through the skin do you mean out through the incision?

So happy for you Claire! Sounds like you’ve had your ups and downs so good for you. Was your implant pushing it’s way out through the incision? Xxxx
