    Hey ladies,

In the past few weeks there have been a couple of negative posts about the aftercare from MYA. I am not for one minute disputing that some times care can fall below par, however, I just wanted to share my experiences to give the more positive experiences.
I had my op on 22nd November with Mr Kazzazi as a day case in Park Hill, unfortunately I had post op bleeding and as a result Mr K wanted me to stay over night. The whole time I was at the hospital I was well looked after and pleased with the care from the nurses. During the 24 hours I was there Mr K came to see me 4 times (1 was pre op, 3 post op) to make sure I was ok and to check on my progress.
Although I had some problems organising my post op appointment after surgery, I contacted my PC and it was then arranged for me to see the nurse at 6 days po.
Yesterday I rang my PC as I was concerned about quite severe bruising that had occurred over the last 2 days. When I rang my PC at 9.30 in the morning to say I was concerned she immediately made me an appointment for 12.30 that day without issue. I saw the nurse and was reassured that there were no further complications and it was just bad bruising from where the drain and been situated.
I just want to say that through my whole experience my PC has been great. She rang me the morning of my op to wish me luck and has since rang me twice to make sure I am ok as well as responding to any questions I have had for her.

I just wanted to share my positive experiences from MYA for any girls who are worried xxx
