Alcohol

Hi how long after surgery are we allowed a glass of wine…I’m 6 days po and having a glass of rose lol (needed) iv seen somewhere on the notes how long after it can I find it? Not a chance, so if anyone knows that would be handy?

@witwoolou I was wondering this myself- they usually “recommend” after 2 weeks – but I have friends who were out drinking the day after theirs lol! I’m 11days post op and I’m defintely gonna have a glass or 2 this weekend! Lol if you’re finished you’ve antibiotics I don’t see why you can’t have the odd glass xxx

Oh ok I thought I read before I had my op you shouldnt drink till 5 days after. I didn’t go with mya.
I’m only having the echo falls summer fruits rose and is like 9%
I shouldn’t imagine it hurts …. unless you end up on the floor ???????? best stop now then hahaha

I think they say that to cover themselves!!! I’m off antibiotics, no pain relief , only taking my arnica tablets…I will, couple more lol xx

I was told two weeks, my nurse said it’s because alcohol thins the blood and dehydrates you and you heal better when hydrated? But again everybody is different xx

Hahaha after this week I think ending up on the floor is least of my worries LOL 3rd glass and NO more… behaving myself and cath I’ll drink loads of water so be hydrated lol winner ???????? xxx

Ha ha… you go for it… if I drunk I would of had one… to hell with it.. your body has been through a lot it deserves some wine 😉 xx

😀 ha ha um I did put some up, but don’t think there’s any difference tbh!!! I think there too small, or maybe I’m greedy 🙁

Bandages are covering a lot of the bottom of them…will take another picture tomorrow…not much difference I think lol xx

Not gunna lie babe, I had a wine and a beer when I got to the hotel after surgery Haha, probably shouldn’t have because of the morphine haha and I was out at 6 days post op and was fine

Oh ye I remember seeing them now by the tattoos lol… wow they have changed haven’t they, they are dropping lovely, your results are going to be amazing xxx

Do you reckon? I don’t like them at all….rather of had unders for that whole drop and fluff 🙁 plus wish I’d gone slightly bigger it oh well too late now….back to padded bras again :(( xx

I went to a festival 1 WPO and had 4 days of drinking and it didn’t affect my healing xx

Hey x I had a glass of wine 7dpo as it was my birthday and believe me I was on toilet for 30min shaking and feeling bad… bleahhh.. I dont think we should drink when we on antibiotics lol Hope u was fine 😉
