What were people like after it? bit loopy/ completely fine?

i was fine, i was sick whilst under but i didn’t even realise, xx

I kept trying to sit up and kept taking my oxygen mask off, was confused and disorientated the nurses kept having to push me back down like 10 times coz I kept forgetting theyd already asked me to stay lying down, and they kept having to put my oxygen mask back on coz once again I kept forgetting them telling me to keep it on, and I waved to a random woman who was next to me lol, bit groggy, felt sick if I sat up too long but was never actually sick, kinda drift in and out of conciousness/sleep as well

I was so tired after mine. Still shattered now. My hair and skin has been proper greasy!

I have been really down since aswell keep crying for no reason!

i was shouting at other ppl in the recovery room asking if my boobs were big tryin 2 pull my gown off! haha cant rly remember tho but after a few hours i was fine :)xxx

lol i turn into a whore apparently!! Everytime ive had a GA ive tried it on with someone…….my mum was with me last time i had one and apparently i was pretty much talking dirty to the porter the whole way down to surgery and then to the nurse when i woke up again…..doesnt matter if its man/woman/gereatric/munter….i WILL try and get it on with them….never mind eh hahaha

I was really down too in like the first 2 weeks after surgery, always cried, got angry easy, I was pissed off at my BF for no reason but then when I was telling him I felt pissed off with him but had no idea why he just reassured me and I burst out crying lol, he just kept saying “it’s ok I understand, your body and emotions have been through a lot of stress” etc. then that made me feel guilty for HATING HIM!!! but I really couldnt help it, so cried even more lmao

hahaha sandy we must of posted at the same time cause i didnt see your one!! yup some people are fricking insane with a GA, we can have our own lil group haha mind you im a bit mental most of the time! xx

Cos i was thinkin, had a GA years ago when i broke my leg wen i was like 11 and i kinda remember shouting out for help from every passing nurse. So not sure wt i’ll b like this time lol.

But saying as everyone does different things, the nurses and doctors must be used to and and not so shocked.

Hehe I work with doctors, nurses, and med students….nothing phases them at all, some woman shat all over the place…..the nurse just said ‘o dear that’s unfortunate’…..their all too tired and overworked to even care about our madness haha xx

Even if you did they probably wouldn’t bother telling you!! My mate did when she had her little boy, nurses just cleaned her up, to this day she doesn’t even realise she did it, never felt the need to tell her cause she’d b mortified to know she did that in a room full on me, her husband and all the med staff!! Me and her hubby made a pact just not to tell her haha xx

The effects such as crying a lot and being moody are from the antibiotics its the side effects from it ive had the antibiotics before after an operation and it made me so emotional. My pre op nurse said that it due it to pple as well as making u constipated, she add if u can handle the pain cunt take them x

U have to take antibiotics though to prevent infection hunni xx

Oh I’m on about the co-codomel or something like tht its called neways the nurse told me They’ll give u some to take home I’m not 100% just remember her telling the pain killers they give u will give u side effects, how long r u on anti biotocs for after the op 7days isit? Xxx

Ive just finished mine and feel soooo much better.

Cocodymol is horrid stuff, im allergic to coidine so couldnt take it thank god!!

I only had paracetemol after op.

I think the coidine in cocodymol makes u constipated and had bad side effects… Xxx

one thing im not looking forward to i always feel sick anyways so pucking up was a habit when i was pregnant would be no change there but i hate needles ahhhh x

Get some Elma cream, think that’s how it’s spelt?! It’s a cream anesetic, ask nurse to put it where they plan to needle you and in half an hour the area should be numb xx
