    Hi girls
I saw dr mounir twice, the first time he said I was boarder line and probably needed an uplif so sort of got my head around it (was bit of a shock) then the second time I saw him he said if we went with a larger implant I would be alright with just the BA and may need an uplift later down the line.
Any girls in this situation or have any before and after a please??

    Thanks in advance xx

Hi Emily, I was told the same thing by Dr Andrea and chose the BA as have 2 small children and recovery is easier – plus wanted bigger boobs and if have uplift in few years can keep larger implants 🙂 I will try and attach before and afters….I had 430 UHP on 22nd Mar xx

@Emily this is exactly my situation so hopefully I can help!! I’ve lots of pictures on my profile so feel free to add me/ask me any questions as it was something that I went over and over. I’ve got a little boy of 20 months and have been left with still D/DD empty up top boobs. My left was bigger than my right and hung considerable lower than my right. My surgeon was Dr.Marcellino and he said I was borderline uplift. I saw him 4 times as I was so unsure. Every time I went he said that I more and more needed an uplift but I wouldn’t be able to breastfeed again and it’s a longer recovery and you have to have smaller implants. I decided to just go for a BA and with my pc’s advice I stuck by this. I will have to have a uplift in the future (my nipples need moving too really) and my implants are going to be heavy and I will need to wear a bra. But I am SOOOO happy I didn’t go with the uplift and I can’t explain how happy I am. My PC was also very happy with my results. I would say go for the BA, accept that you won’t have the most perfect look right now and they will be heavy and drop but it’s so worth it. I’m day 6 today, here’s a day 5 before/after picture. I hope I can help 🙂

@emily I’ve just seen your stats! I’m 5ft.9 and 10st 7 (now 11st) I had 425 right 450cc left high profile overs. I’ve seen your going for 550cc that seems very big to me as I’m already wearing a G/size 16 bikinis and that’s the biggest for example h&m do but I was a empty D before x

    Hi girls!!
Thank you sooo much for your advice, put my miles more at ease!! Do you mind if I add you both and I can stalk your pictures hahah!!
Yea I really don’t want an uplift and if I can get away with not having one then I will.
Yea I thought 550 was big but my breast pocket is quite large apparently haha so my options were 475/500/550 but again my left breast is bigger then my right so will have 500 on left and 550 in right. I’m currently an empty B/C

Feel free to add! That is the only think I think that I should of had 400 in one and 450 in the other not 425/450 as I still have one side bigger than the other (considerably) x

    Amy your boobs are fab!!!!!!
Looking at your before pics, mine have a lot less tissue in by the looks as yours were still quite full at the bottom, mine are practically just skin with the odd bit of tissue thrown in here and there!! He said I would end up F (ish) but because I’m quite tall anyway he said I would get away with it.
Yea my left breast is a decent cup size bigger than my right xx

@emily thank you. I just can’t keep looking at pictures of them. They look way better in that bikini than without anything on. I did have a lot of bottom tissue. In a Macom bra they look much smaller and then when you want to show them off they look bigger which I thinks great. I agree as we are tall we can pull them off! I think you’ve made the right choices! X

I’m so glad I’ve found this thread… I’ve been told by me Andrea I need an uplift and implants, the more I think about the uplift the more it absolutely puts me off… I’m 22 no children don’t want the scars and want to try breastfeeding when I do have children. Plus I think I’m only just borderline uplift… I’ve been in touch with my PC this week as I want to see Andrea again and also mounir as well. I’ve booked surgery with mr Andrea but desperately don’t want the uplift. Xxx

@Ella Beau I was desperate for help on this topic when I was considering my options. I really was borderline/left side probably more needed it than didn’t and I just am so so happy I didn’t. Obviously I’m not a year on so they may drop by then but you are so young and I like you want the chance to breastfeed. I am 26 and have one little boy but just didn’t feel ready to make that decision that I won’t ever be able to breastfeed again. My PC was great as she went through similar to me and I felt like she truly believed I would get a good enough result without the uplift. She was great to talk too. She’s called Hannah and is at the Fitzroy if your based there. X

Ella I totally agree!!! Why put yourself through the bigger op if there’s a decent chance that you will be fine anyway, that’s what I’ve broken it down too. If later down the line I need it then okay, but it’s only an ‘IF’.
Also you don’t want options of breastfeeding etc to be taken away from you even if you decide against it!!
The only thing is if you need an uplift and decide against it they normally put a bigger implant in. This was fine with me as I’ve quite tall anyway but I do still want the natural look so going with overs but slightly bigger!!! Xx

Amy’s are fab so that alone gives me more confidence I’m doing the right thing xx

I really like his forum it’s so nice to help people out who are in/have been in the same predicaments as you. It helped me so much. Thank you @Emily. I’m one week post op today and feel like they have dropped a tiny bit but are looking good. I’ll upload pictures to my profile! X

Me too I’m so glad we have this forum id be totally lost otherwise. My PC is Katy at Leeds, she’s very good so hopefully she can point me in the right direction. I’ll keep you posted girls and if you can keep updating us Amy that would be amazing. What did they offer you Emily? I’m quite tall too 5ft 6 to be honest I’d rather they were on the bigger side than too small Nyway. xxx

Ditto!! My PC is Katy too!!
He offered me 450/500/550 HP he said u set the muscle would suit me best for the results I wanted and because I don’t have a lot of breast tissue. I’m going for the biggest they offer as everyone seems to think that’s the best way to go and as I say my left is smaller than my right so I will have 550 in left and 500 in right.
    When’s your op date? Xx

Aw fab!! It was originally booked for 26.04 but I was ill on the day so it was pursponed… If it’s with mr Andrea it’s in October but that’s if he would agree to just implants as he’s recommended uplift and implants… Or I’m hoping to go see mr mounir if Katy can organise it to see when and if he would do it. When is your surgery Emily xxx
