August surgeries?

I’m getting far too excited, I need to know if anyone on here is an August surgery particularly at Fitzroy? Though if you’re having it done anywhere in August I’d love to chat or keep in touch haha x

Hahaha aww Katie please don’t worry- how I wish it was today!! A month to go sadly. I will absolutely start another thread though for recovery! I’ve managed to get nine days off next month so hoping that’s plenty ?? Xx

Ahh I have 5 days annual leave & luckily 5 days working from home hoping this will be enough! Have my pre-op today then I’m ready to go for the 5th August xx

August 26th at London Fitzroy. I’m currently 32a and Dr Marcellino has said he will only go up to 325cc moderate plus but worried it won’t be big enough ? x

I am booked in at Fitzroy 27th Aug and staying nearby at Holiday Inn with bf… I’ve not even had a consultation with the surgeon yet but already excited!

Hi I currently haven’t booked yet.. but there is a date for the 6 of August with dr lutz who I have had a consultation with. I’m in two minds to go ahead or not . I’ve been hearing lots of stories about breast implant illness. Really don’t know what to do. I really do want them as I am 43 and my boobs have sagged over time and I train a lot which doesn’t help. Would be lovely to hear from you guys x

Tar, how did you feel about Dr Lutz? Did she put you at ease?
I am on the 6th Aug, I think that it’s good you’re thinking about risk, but breast implant implant illness is very rare so you need to weigh up the risks compared to how much you want to have it done. X

Hi Vanessa thanks for replying.. dr lutz was really lovely and I am happy to choose her as my surgeon .. I really do want it done. But just scared ?most people I have spoke to who have had it say it’s the best thing they’ve done xx

Hello Tar! I’m booked in for the 28th august for 350 unders. I am also 43 and have fed 4 babies so my boobs are completely empty and I’m pretty much back in my 13 year old first size bras again!! I was also concerned about the implant sickness, but when you look at the stats, it is quite rare. And as my husband says, if it doesn’t work, we’ll just have them taken out! I lost my mum to breast cancer 2 years ago. If anything it has made me more determined to get mine done. My surgeon has arranged for me to have a mammogram before surgery so I now know how to keep myself checked and feel more confident in doing so. Hope this all makes sense. Xx
