please? been reading things online about if you get infections you will need to replace the implant? which is very worrying.

I’m still pre-op at the moment but I’d just keep ringing the nurses emergency line! I can’t believe they’re in available that’s so bad! I’ve heard quite a few negative reviews regarding aftercare lately which isn’t putting me at ease one bit 🙁 good luck with yours though! Fingers crossed for you and let us know how you get on xx

Head to your GP. The pus does sound like a wound infection and the clear fluid sounds like a Seroma, it’s a build up of blood plasma, usually caused by doing too much too soon or getting your incisions wet from showering/bathing too early or applying cream before the 6 week mark, but it can happen for no reason. Get to the GP asap as they will be able to treat it for you, catching infection early is key to stop it spreading to the implant pocket, if an infection spreads to the pocket they do then need to remove the implant, flush the pocket and leave it alone for 3-6months before placing a new implant. IF you have no pain or swelling in the breast then this no worry to you, wound infections are really easy to treat. Good luck and let us know how you get on x
