Bra sizing?

Hey girls. Been measured today at Boux avenue and was measured a 30DD. They didn’t have the bra I liked in my size so the lady suggested the 32D but I didn’t try it on as I was told it was same as 30DD. Anyway tried it on when I got home and it’s sooo small?! Can someone explain the sizes please!

I have that bra and I find it doesn’t fit me great in comparison to my other bras from boux avenue in same size. It is meant to be that as the back size goes up, the cup goes down so what she suggested is right in theory… I would probably take it back and try another style / size x
