Breast reduction week today!

How weird, I thought I would be so nervous but all I am is excited! I booked my hotel at the ibis across from the hospital in Preston. Anyone gimme tips on what to take? Obviously tooth brush etc but will I need to take my own food or anything? Also, how long before is it I have to not drink alcohol, I’m going out on Saturday but not sure if I’m allowed to drink x

No alcohol!
No alcohol for two weeks before the op and two weeks after.
Not entirely sure on the facilities at Preston or if you’re staying overnight but maybe take some snacks for after though I didn’t feel like eating when I woke. Take button up pjs, I wore mine home. Take things to keep you entertained.

That’s fine then I just won’t drink I don’t mind 🙂 I never thought about button ups! I’ll have to get some! I have my ipad with candy crush haha so that will keep me entertained! I will do! I can’t freaking wait! How have you been feeling? X

Definitely need button ups, you’ll need to wear them for the first couple of weeks!
I’m doing well, I’m 29 days PO now and my incisions are healing nicely, still got fluid coming from my t-junction incisions but that’s normal, I’m having dressing changes twice a week but my bruising has gone down and I can see where I’m healing now. I need to get some up to date photos on here 🙂

I stayed at the same hospital for a slightly different operation. They are so lovely there. Don’t worry about food there is plenty there. I expected it to be a set menu at a set time but you can just tell them when your hungry and what you want. Family and friends get discount on food and drinks too 🙂
