I’m 5 days post op and this morning I woke up with what I can only describe like a burning pain on the right side of my boob near where my scar will be, it was agony to the point where it made me feel sick and start sweating, I hadn’t taken co codomol at all the night or day before so just taken one now, wonder if it’s only because I’ve been on paracemtol? Is this something to worry about? I’ve changed my sport bra over too and the pain has stopped?

    Hey lovely,
I had this too it comes and goes. From what I’ve read it’s pretty normal and to do with nerves. If it’s really bad to the point you can’t cope ring your nurse and they may prescribe you strong painkillers. Good luck in 20DPO and still get little twinges every now and then xx

I’m 12 days and last night was bad again pain wise in my shoulder blade. Felt a lot better yesterday so did a little more and I think I’ve obviously done something which has caused pain. So worrying isn’t it when it hurts bad x

@choc70 Yesterday was the first day I had just taken paracemtol and I think I over did it! I was lifting things etc thinking I was okay when really we should still be taking it easy! Was a right scare at 6:30 this morning!! Feeling loads better now! You worry less when you know what to expect I think xx

I had this too when I had my strapping off and I think it was also a bit of implant pressing against the incision. It made me feel really sick x

I’m 5 days post op hun, just felt like that while out for a walk, felt as if i had something stabbing me but it passed. Think it’s all just part of the recovery????

It’s totally normal Hun it’s your implant settling and the nerves reattaching xx
