So all of today my left boob has been killing me all of a sudden. Shooting pains, dull ache and a burning feeling. I’m starting to think that it’s capsular contracture as it looks and feels different to my good boob. I’m 6 months post op and have overs. I’ve attached a photo. Please let me know what you think x

Hi I had a slight ache down the side of my left boob for around a week on around week 2 but was told this was normal , however had no burning sensation altho saying that at 6 months that should have stopped now . I’d call up your patient coordinator and find out , hope everything’s ok xx

Lucy how are getting on….? My pics are very similar except my left has never really settled. I had 300cc over vs 325cc in the right. I feel like I have 2 different boobs some days!

Hey, still the same to be honest! The dodge boob just feels super tight and hard at all times now, sometimes painful. And when I move them the dodge one barely moves whereas the good one moves much more freely. It’s weird because when looking in the mirror they look the same, but when I take photos the difference is really clear. How long ago was your surgery? Are you going to try and get revision surgery? X

Hi girls, Just logged on after a few years and reading through some posts to see if I can give you any advice.

6 months is still very early and your boobs will change loads up until a year. I still have pain now and i’m coming upto 4 years. I still cannot bare to touch my nipples as they sting like mad also and I have no sensation in part of my boobs xx Hope this helps xx

Hey Yvonne, thanks so much for your reply and advice! My issue is not just the pain but the fact that it is rock hard and doesn’t move freely like the other one, it feels almost stuck. It also feels tight and I get a pulling sensation every time I move. My surgery was last August so almost a year now and I’m just a bit worried that this is not going to solve itself. I’m super sad to hear that your nipples still hurt after 4 years!! Because mine are sooo painful and I was hoping this would go away soon, maybe not 🙁 xxx

Hey Lucy, sorry haven’t been on much.
I’ve had a Zoom consultation this week with my surgeon as decided a year was plenty of time for things to settle. He said he will see me when hospital is open again so he can check me over in person. He mentioned CC and said the pain I’m describing on the interior side is odd for overs.
I have same as you, in the mirror it’s noticeable but in pics it’s so much worse. The bad boob is very flat (oblong) shaped & like you doesn’t move much. It’s also like it’s stuck on the scar line and pulls when I move 😩
I hope he will consider revision as feel miserable which is no different to before I had them done!

OMG, ours sounds so similar! How did you manage to get a zoom call arranged?! Because when.I call MYA it’s just an automated message saying call back when they reopen! My bad boob isn’t flat or oblong shape but it definitely sits a bit higher, and the sensations are the exact same as yours. Doesn’t move at all, seems stuck on the scar line and pulls when I move. I’m the exact same, I definitely need revision as I can’t live like this! X
