Clear gel polish okay?

Got my op in 26 days and can’t remember anything from my first BA.

Is clear gel polish okay? I’ve read that it’s just so they can see the nail beds and circulation. Hence thinking clear polish would be okay

I was told it was so they can accurately measure your heart rate with the finger monitor thing. I’d remove it if unsure, not worth it for the extra hassle of having to remove on the day

Hi, I was told no nail polish at all on toes or fingers x
