    Hi
I’m due my consultation with Mr Mounir on 14th aug but I’m a but apprehensive because I have to attend alone and I’d hoped my husband could be with me. I know it’s my body my boobs etc but I feel like it’s a decision we should both take part in (ultimately me I know)
Has anyone else felt a bit strange knowing they’re going alone to make sure a huge decision or have you been totally fine and I’m just a bit of a baby 😂🙈

    Thanks

I definitely felt more hesitant because I also wanted someone to accompany me, mainly just to make sure the whole experience went smoothly. For mine (with Dr Mileto) it wasn’t just me and him, there was a lovely girl there who works for Mya taking notes and recording things for the Dr. She made me feel a lot more comfortable, even tho the Dr himself is very lovely aswell 😋

I’ve had my op now but yes I didn’t really like not having my husband there, everything goes over my head and he remembers stuff. Im also useless as I never know what questions to ask! It was okay though, just would’ve preferred him there. My surgeon was lovely though and there was a MYA lady there that does make you feel more comfortable, hope your appointment goes well!
