Hi girls. 5 days post op now, found day 3 the absolute worst in terms of pain/nausea but it’s definitely easing off now. How long did everyone wait before going out? I’m not wanting to do anything major but also dont want to be doing too much if i should still be resting?

Hi hope you’re surgery went well! Am day 6 post op today and agree day 3 was the challenging one but I have been really lucky with my recovery minimal pain and nausea only on surgery day. I think everyone is different I had my surgery on the Wednesday morning and popped round my friends mum’s house with her (not driving obviously) for a cuppa just for some fresh air the flowing afternoon.
Day 5 yesterday my friend drove me to my 1st pre op appointment to have the surgical strapping removed and see the girls for the 1st time and went and had a coffee and did some retail therapy afterwards. Just listen to your body if you feel okay pop out for some fresh air for a bit bit have someone with you that cab take you home if it feels a bit much. It drives me nuts to stay bed bound so admit I have been moving around but the minute I’ve felt a bit tired or achy I’ve plonked myself right back in front of the tv again lol good luck for the rest of your recovery!

I had my surgery Saturday i had 240cc under the muscle and today’s the first day I’ve spent at home all day and I’ve been bored stiff. I’ve been really lucky with my recovery and can’t say I’ve been in Any pain. The worst part for me was yesterday we had to go out and buy some new supportive bras because the ones I had ordered from may where just far to tight and u comfortable! I think it was down to the swelling but since getting a bigger size everything been perfect. I did have to stop the muscle tablets yesterday as they where making me sick and I havnt been having alot of pain killers either. Cant wait to get the strapping of thro haha. You know how you feel do it when you feel ready x

    Hiya,

I had my surgery on Monday and can’t believe how good I feel! I was released really early Monday and managed to nip to the shops before heading home, yesterday I started to feel slightly tighter but managed to nip out twice again to get some fresh air! Im starting to feel really bloated and tired today but I honestly find the boredom is the worst bit! Not being able to do everything you feel you can mentally is a pain but overall am so shocked to feel so good! Glad you are both feeling well!! xx

I’m 10DPO, I’ve just got back from Costa with my mum (she drove). I’ve had a few small trips out but find that I need to sit down for a while after! I just ache otherwise. I’m trying to take things easy but if I’m sat still.for too long my legs get restless and my bum goes numb. Doing short periods of slow activity followed by sitting down afterwards seems to work for me so far
