Just wondering if anyone has stayed overnight and would they recommend it rather than being a day case. When I had my consultation I was only quoted the price / discussed being a day case but I’m unsure if I would rather stay over night in case anything goes wrong or am I worrying over nothing? Thank you xx

If you are having local anaesthetic you will be absolutely fine to do a day case. I did a day case as I had local anaesthetic and sedation and I was fine 😘 If your having general anaesthetic I think you have to stay overnight xxx

I was told by my pc it’s better to stay especially if it’s your first ever procedure because then they can manage your pain better xx

I’m having general and I’m a day case, I would much rather be comfortable at home. Most BAs are day cases x

You do not have to stay the night if you are having general. I had general and was only booked for a day case however ending up staying the night as wasn’t very well. x
