So after the long wait new booby day had arrived.
I had an arrival time of 7:30, which was nice as I beat rush hour as I took the underground to Fitzroy. The closest station I found for me was Great Portland Street.
After being shown to the reception I was soon shown to my room and settled in. The room was lovely, a toilet and shower, along with TV and all the clothing needed laid out on the bed. Yes the sexy string nickers too.
Shortly after a nurse called Charlotte introduced herself and explained everything that was going to happen and went through a small checklist. I was second on the list to go down so was told roughly 9.30 which was great. I went and got changed into the gown and was getting ready. Charlotte returned and carried out some observations and pregnancy test and then told me to sit back and relax. The anaesthetist came in and went through what was going to happen with the surgery. Dr Sleiter then came in and went over some paperwork like checking again what size I was having and got his blue pen out and drew his lines on me, took some pictures and answered any questions I had. Everyone was very nice and I felt more at ease once I seen everyone. Shortly after 9.30 I was called down. Around 11am I was back in my room and very sleepy but had two new additions on my chest. Over the next few hours the nurses came and checked on me, brought me tea and toast . After a few hours I was feeling a bit more with it and requested some food and they brought in a menu, and I had mushroom risotto. It was very tasty and just what i needed.
Shortly after 4pm Dr Sleiter came in and checked on everything, and after receiving my medication I was allowed to go.
I was feeling nervous and unsure before but was welcomed and felt at ease once arrived at Fitzroy, all the staff were fantastic and after a bit of rest I am so happy with the results already. I know there is plenty of changes but they look so much better. If i could give anyone some advice, then practise getting up from a 45 degree angle to a sitting position with your shoulders and not with your arms. The pain has been managable but it is only day one snd i have been told day 2 will be the worse day.
I will try and keep pictures of the progression and have started a Instagram page if you want to follow the progress. Username is mya_31.01.19
I had 400cc over the muscle. I was a deflated 34b to start and was aiming for an E cup.
Here is a little before and after picture just before leaving.
Trying uploading again.
Lovely to hear your story – completely agree about working on sitting up without using arm and chest muscles. Really wishing I’d started sit ups, the burn under my boobs when I sit upright has got worse over the days!
Im going to add you on insta – my account is redrow-Warwick just in case you think it’s some weirdo 😊 x
Ps I also had 400cc overs – from an empty 36b.
third time lucky. I have reduced the size of the file.
Lovely to read your story, really pleased you’ve had a positive experience. Your boobs look so good in your post op bra. Happy New booby day x
So great to read your story, your new girls look amazing, il add you my insta is mya_12.04.19, enjoy your new boobs 😀xx
Glad to read your story Clare I am now two days post op! I find sitting as upright as possible in bed and near to the edge is the easiest for me to get up, just swing your legs to the side and use your legs to push up, also sitting on the couch or a chair as much throughout the day is a good help too!! X
Yeah i am all set up on the sofa today. The pain is much worse and my bruising has come out. Haven’t been able to do u. With y girls which is gutting. I thought I might be able to at least get on the floor as play with her but I can’t. On a positive note my husband is getting good at making tea lol xx
How are you feeling xx
I have the same bra as you, how are you finding it? I’m 2 days post op and the pain is ok but I feel like the bra ends just where my stitches are and I’m worried it’s digging in x
Hi tor, yeah mine seems to end near where the stickers and cut is. It’s not to bad but guess tomorrow and the following week I may feel it more.
Clare K, great to read youe story 😊
Beautiful pic already, looking so good.
