    Hi everyone

I’m trying to decide whether to just go for the day or to stay in overnight.

Do they take the packing out before you leave if you are only there for the day? Or would you have to go back the next day?

    Xx

    Hey,

I stayed for the day left at 22:30. They take the packing out before you go! You have to be an hours drive away. I stayed in a holiday inn 10 minutes away much cheaper! X

I had my done in January and I stayed in a hotel close to the hospital it was ready nice but cheap, I left the hospital at 4.30pm and I had to keep the packing in for a day and when to the Newcastle clinic to get it take in out x

initially i thought the night stay would be included in the hefty cost, but i booked mine today as just the day. might look at hotels like yourselves.

You should consider being a day case, its a lot cheaper since you don’t have to pay for the over night stay. Staying elsewhere might be a little risky incase of emergency x

I was a day case – admitted at 12, op at 3 and discharged at 8 ๐Ÿ™‚ I stayed in a hotel 10 mins away from the hospital the first night as I live in newcastle and you have to be within an hours drive of the hospital for your first night. I went to my clinic to have my packing out on day 2 ๐Ÿ™‚ Xx

I stayed overnight, dont think I could of gone back to hotel with my boyfriend. I was out for the count after being sick off the anesthetic. It’s up to you though it all depends on how you feel or what you think is best. If you are a day case though you have to stay within an hour of the hospital anyway. (if you don’t live within that distance of course)
I am from Newcastle and had op in London.

    xx
