    Does anyone know how long you are usually in the hospital when you are a daycase?xx

    Hey Hun, it depends what time you have your op. my admission time was 9am, I was second on the list and down in theatre for 12, and I left hospital at 7pm xx

    Oh its quite a long day isnt it. Just trying to get the day planned as I have an 8 year old who I have to sort out child care for.xx

    My admission was 7.30am i was first on the list i was in surgery by 8.15am an left hosp at 4pm! wasnt that long at all for me! was basically like a work day lol it was over so fast! x

    My other half had to go home after my op to sort child care then came back for me. The day goes sooooo fast hope all goes well for ya xx

    After you’ve had your op it’s 6 hours before your discharged. So I’d add roundly 8 hours onto your admission time and you should have a basic idea xx

    Also make sure you have a wee after your op or they wont let you leave lol x

    I was first in, got to hospital at 8, went for op at 9:15am, I did really well drank loads of fluid, had a cup of tea and some biscuits, went for a wee etc etc etc…was allowed to leave at 1:30pm, so I think it really depends on how you get on with it all as an individual xx
