    Hiya ladies,
Its been a few weeks now since I started this forum topic….back sleeping on my side now 10 weeks on ..YIPEEE!!! Mind you my boobs still ache when I wake up. I’ve tried to sunbath on my front when I went on holiday recently and guess what….impossible felt like laying on 2 inflatable beach balls…came home with a nice tanned front and milk bottle back and legs. I should invent a sunlounger with holes cut out especially for implants least us ladies could tan our backs hehe xxx

i have 4 pillows propped up and a v pillow on top, i tilt to the side slightly on one side of the v, and change over if i get uncomfortable, i acually find it really comfy though, probably because i have kids and im so tired in the night im straight to sleep.

    Hi
I know what you mean about sleeping on your back – I’m not impressed with it myself !
Ive found my V pillow has helped; you can get them from Argos-

even if u have the choice of wearing one or not, its still better to buy one because the implants are heavy and ur not used to having them in ur chest. so wearing a bra just gives u bit of relief!
im 13days post op now, just had a go at lying on my belly! wasnt too bad, felt like i was lying on 2 small balloons! lol!

Hi princess – I have my BA due on wednesday with Dr Adamo and he said I can either wear a sports bra or not – it is totally up to me. He does not have a preference. I am going to buy one tommorow just in case, but I guess it depends on your surgeon. x x

make sure that you dont get one that pulls over your head! i got mine from marks and spencers. they are not the most attractive things but they were nice soft white cotton that fastened at the back. think it was

    Hi everyone..
Anyone else finding it difficult sleeping with their new implants. I cant seem to sleep on my back and when I sleep on my side they really ache!! Not had a proper nights sleep in 2 weeks!!:cry::cry:

I know exactly how you feel. I hated sleeping on my back, it was so uncomfy!!!

I ended up laying awake for hours not being able to sleep, start getting back ache

Best thing to do is try sleeping sort of on your side with a really flat and really soft squishy light pillow under them, it really helps:-)

    Hiya!
No I never got any stretch marks whatsoever with both BAs. I could feel slight rippling at the sides of the 340’ccs when I moved in certain positions. I did have both my BA’s under the muscle .. im not sure if this helped with not stretching my skin as much (I didnt have room for overs!!)???? Emmaxxx

oh no lol i love sleeping on my front lol…ill have to practice my back lol. ive booked my first consultation for the 30th june, im sooo excited! I have to wait untill october until i have it done tho. im so bloody inpatient its unreal lol. Ive been doing the rice test, its so unbelievable the amount of difference the back size of a bra makes to the cup. i tried on a 36f and loved it but im not a 36 im a 34 and 34f looks much smaller. i think im going to be looking at 34g lol. Also emma , i know u did it gradually but going from an ‘a’ to an ‘f’ cup, have you got stretch marks? some body said that to me the other day and i hadnt really thought about it until then…. Emi x

You can (i think?),but I found ..sleeping on my front, sunbathing on my front(to tan back when on holiday ) impossible as it felt like I was laying on 2 balls and it did make my impants ache. I found sleeping on my side easier but after the implants settled down. Unfortunately havent slept now for over 2 weeks properly after 2nd bA as still having to sleep on my back with the new Implants and I keep waking up.:cry:Emmaxx

    Hiya,
Keep the bra on day and night..also I put on straight after surgery as the nurse made sure I did. Its a pain i know .. you may need to buy a bigger back bra??. I am wearing 34 back bras when I’m normally a 32 as its more comfortable. It does rub a bit on the incisions but just pull it down a bit. You must support implants for medical reasons. 3 weeks on and the sports bras have stopped rubbing still a bit sore now and again but doooont take that bra off. emmaxx

Can I ask if you kept your sports bra on, straight after your sugery? I put mine on when i left the hospital, howver took it off the following morning as i felt that it was rubbing on my incision cuts. I will prob put it back on in a couple of days, but just wandering if this may be a bad thing. I have on ly had 460cc, although they do feel heavy it is on ly my first day after BA and all im doing is laying around..

    Hi

I had my BA on wednesday and have been having the same problem….last night was the 1st night i slept right through! im use to sleeping on my side also and kept waking up in the night on my back. Last night i propped my pillows up loads and waited untill i was in bed ready to sleep untill i took my last lot of painkillers, they make me quite drowsey so they managed to work and i slept all through!

do u sleep with your sports bra on? xx
