    Hi girls!
I am currently now coming up to 2 weeks post op tommorow. I have noticed some of my stitches are being pushed to the surface of the skin. It is adviced to just leave them be? They aren’t causing me any pain or discomfort but just wanted to make sure.. think I’m just being super paranoid with the new boobies! X

@josey exactly the same as me! They have actually only just started showing today.. I never noticed them when I took my strips off a couple of days ago! I am glad I am not the only one with this issue lol, it must be a normal process that happens. It seems as if the stitches are just coming to the surface rather than being dissolved which is confusing though?! Xx

I asked my PC who is so good she said see the nurse if they start hurting in that area or anything, I keep washing mine with sterile wipes xx

What wipes do you use? I haven’t used anything on mine, but now stitches are starting to show I think would be a good idea to keep clean! X

Just sterile wipes the type you get in a first aid box for cleaning wounds etc , I just feel washing with just water doesn’t get all the bacteria away xx

Hi girls they can take up to 3 months to fully dissolve and your internal ones can push out and poke threw the surface but it’s nothing to be concerned about if they start catching on your bra abs stuff the nurse can trim them down for you xx

Amy it’s totally normal hun I’ve actually just been to the clinic tonight about a small hole that was weeping ( it was a stitch lol) and he checked all of my breast I’ve got a few stitches like you it’s just your body pushing the foreign object out eventually they will be at the surface of your skin and fall off , one of mine came off earlier today , im 4 weeks p.o. xx
