*Maria's forum takeover: Vaser Liposuction*

I am having a consultation on Friday at mya Manchester for vaser anyone had the procedure. I have been reading mixed reviews. I want to know what the recover is like, time wise as I am looking at the end of jan for my op but have a wedding in march ? Is this enough time to heal ? Advice would be awesome vic x

What surgeon done maria’s vaser? X

Hi I went to dr hamlet who works for Mya. He is amazing. The team are so professional x

How many areas did u get done? Did u have to wear a compression garment? Xxx

Had bum, back, underarms, hips and inner thigh. I had a compression garment for 4 weeks but think this would vary in time dependant on the patient x x x finally out of it now

what size implants did u have? unders or overs? who did ur ba? im booked in for jan with marion grob

Payment varies on what area you have etc so what I paid would probably be very diff to other cases. Probably best book a consultation x x x

My ba was done through a different clinic, if you combined the 2 Mya did Lauren pope and my other friend cara who’s both look great so maybe see the surgeon at the same time. Omg am jel. Hot new body for you!

Hi gem. I think I was told 10% of my body weight but in my case was more a contour thing and reshaping. I didn’t want to be loads lighter. Just stubborn areas removed so I guess it depends on how much you have taken out x

what size were u before you had vaser and what size are you now, do u feel alot different after having it done? was it very painfull? x

I haven’t weighed myself. Yes feel lighter more slimmer all my clothes fit so much better x

also… what happened at your consultation with Dr Hamlet? Did he draw the areas he was going to do and everything?

Thanx Maria I had lipo a year ago on my stomach, but thinking of having what you had done on my thighs also having my boobs done feb, u look fab by the way, miss u on Essex xxxx

I was a large 10 now a small 8 is more for contour my case was. Xi would more recommend vaser over trad lipo I think vaser is the best one to have especially is you was definition afterwards….x

I won’t lie it was uncomfortable afterwards and like any surgery you think “god what have I done” but as soon as I took the compression garment off to shower I was amazed and have no regrets. No pain no gain haha x

Dr hamlet drew on areas and told me about the ‘A’ line and ‘S’ line and also about the muscles so I had and understandi of how he would remove fat and recontour my body, warning if you go to see him you will DEFO want it, he is so passionate about his work with MYA and really understands you and your body and the areas that concern you x x x #magician

how did you find recovery? did you have much brusing and swelling? if so how long did it take to go away? x

“Have you lost weight or just inches or both? How hard do you think it will be to keep the fat away?”

Bruising wasn’t so bad. Swelling lasts a while but you look slimmer straight away generally. X

Because the fat cells are removed they can’t come back but a healthy lifestyle is recommended after. You should lose both weight and inches I think x

im abit worried about my recovery… do people from MYA call you and ask if your ok afterwards? x

Yes there after care is amazing there is always someone to call x

No it was near the Mya clinic near wimpole street can’t remember clinic name. Xxxx
