Dose everybody hav 2 wear the bands to hold ur boobs in place after op?

Was wondering if every women has to wear a boob band after there op? If u do hav 2 wear them are they provided or do u hav 2 buy them ur self? If so we’re will I buy 1 from? X

Hi Stacey, not everyone has to wear one it just depends on your surgeon, some like to just use strapping and some don’t use anything. I’ve been given a breast band though and they provide it for you (not sure if they add it to the final bill or not tbh but I doubt they will). Hope this helps xx

I asked the nurse this and she said you only have to wear them if you have implants placed under the muscle. I had partials and didn’t need one xx

I asked my nurse about this nd ur right it is provided for u I’m having under the muscle also but I’m told my surgeon do sent use the bands so I won’t have to wear 1 anyway my surgeon is Dr kazzazi I’m having my op at Doncaster on 20th may 6 days to go lol getting excited muchly now ?? xx
