    Hi everyone
Thought I’d write about what’s happened so far. Hopefully it will be useful to someone.
My admission time was 10am yest (29th ).
Everything was really organised, got taken straight up to a shared room and got gowned up ect. Dr g came and had a chat. Can’t stress enough how he put me at ease and filled me with confidence straight away! I was so excited. I should point out I’m the type of person who jumps out the tattooist chair!
Anyway Dr g was the perfect balance of being kind, listening to me, giving his opinion and getting excited with me.
I got bumped up the list as someone had eaten breakfast!?so I went down at 1.30pm. It’s so quick once you get into theatre there really wasn’t time to panic. Then the next thing I remember was having my arms pinned down. I was so annoyed as, In my head I had just had a nap and had a snotty nose that someone wldnt let me wipe! Lol
After that it was just a repetition of dozing and waking. I was lucky as I didn’t have a sore throat. Had a slight headache and a dull ache on my nose. Ive had to have the packing left in for some reason. Im sure i wld be fine if i didnt have those. If qnyone else is sensitive to dust or has sinus prob I would describe it like that.
Got discharged about 10pm I think. Have slept way better than I expected but can’t get up for too long without getting dizzy. Now I just hope il be singing Dr g praises as much when the last comes off! ?

    Thanks Lianne,
Just wanted to point out how important it is to rest. I had a really awful day yesterday. I took 2 painkillers when really I only needed 1 and I took them on an empty stomach. Really bad idea. Make sure you eat or you will literally feel like a zombie all day! On top of that I had to go and have the packing taken out. Was all a bit much for day 3. Lol

Oh no poor you I have heard the painkillers are extremely strong The last thing you probably needed was to have to go out as well Do you know why they left the packing in? How are you feeling in general? X

Yeah I was pretty bad on day 3&4. It was only the affects of the meds and anesthetic though. The nose has been fine. No pain, not uncomfortable ect. I vaguely remember asking why he left the packing in and he said he just wanted to keep it stable for a bit longer. Cast off tomorrow!!
How are you getting on? Anything booked?

Can’t upload any pics for some reason. Grrr.
I know it’s easier said than done but try to enjoy it and think about the exciting side of things.
The recovery was fine. Day 3 and 4 were awful for me due to feeling sick ect. Havin said that I’ve got 2 small children and putting pressure on myself to get up ect made it worse. If you can just stay quiet you will be fine. I didn’t fancy anything to eat but it’s really important so maybe stock up on comfort food.
I slept really well and didn’t find it uncomfortable at all really. I had a neck cushion which I couldn’t have done without.
Cast off now. Really happy over all. I’ve got a dent one side but I’m not worried yet. Will see how it calms down.
Dr g was great on the day. I was virtually skipping down to theatre. Enjoy and good luck!

    Hi. I had open septo.
I only saw Dr g as he just seemed to get what I wanted and I liked the look of his work. I’m sure Dr f is great but I didn’t like the sound of him. It’s a nerve wracking decision and you are paying well for it. I didn’t want to deal with his moodiness!
I mainly had work done on the tip as he reduced the cartlidge. But the did give me a bit of a scoop and narrow the bridge a bit.
You should see them both and see how you feel x

Ive been seeing mixed reviews on nose jobs on here, I’m so glad I seen yours, it looks AMAZING! I’m getting my breasts done first but looking into a nose job, mines more outer curved on the bridge, so want it like your one, but the mixed reviews are scaring me incase it goes wrong, how long do you need for recovery time? Also, me BA is with Dr Andrea, hes so nice 🙂
