Driving Test after Op?

I have my BA on 19th August. I’m going for 350cc round in a dual plane/partial position…. I really need to do my driving test and was going to do it before my op but It’s full.

I’m going to try get a cancelled test before my op but if not my driving test will be September 7th…..

Will 19ish days be ok for me to drive? Let alone do my driving test??

I count drive properly for a few weeks I would cancel it just to be safe I couldn’t park or put gears in properly xxx

I had to drive early because of my kids … At first was difficult but I’m 3 weeks po & perfectly fine driving … guess worst case as it gets closer & you’re not feeling ready could move the date

You’ll probably be alright to do the test but you won’t be able to have any lessons beforehand so maybe it’s not a good idea?x

I drove after 7 days but wasn’t the most comfortable, took me 2/3 weeks to be able to go into 5th gear without any pain, 19 days would be fine but depends if you want lessons up to then??xxx

Thank you all! As mentioned I will probably book it and play it by how I feel after. If not I can always move it so it wouldn’t be an issue… appreciate your responses! Xxx

I’m pretty sure you can’t drive at all for 48hours prior surgery this is due to all the medication. I couldn’t drive comfortably until after a week. So as long as your confidence at driving and feel that you have enough space inbetween for lessons you will be fine.

Hi hun I was driving 3 days post op unders it’s just the corners and heat changing I’m just over 3 weeks post op and I’m fine I drove on holiday last week 3 hours away and to all my mya appointments an hour away xx
