Hmm so I’ve been researching a bit on drop and fluff now I’m nearly 6WPO and growing ever more impatient! I found a breast surgery website and there was a popular thread that posted this picture … I’m not sure I’m convinced as I’ve never heard this before?!

Hi nic, firstly have yours dropped at all yet? I’m so impatient already and only 2wpo I mean I love them but they still look just there at the minute! The picture you’ve posted is something which I thought of although I haven’t researched it exactly k know a few people who had their boobies done and that is similar to how they have explained the drop and fluff stage to be and what happens. It’s an odd theory but I wish gravity would hurry now! Haha x

Hi fran 🙂 erm not as of yet! I don’t think anyway ha! One boob has definitely softened a bit more than the other though! I know I feel so impatient as well!!
I was reading another thread today and a few girls said theirs really changed/ dropped after their 6 week check up when they bought normal bras and stopped wearing their sports bras! Hopefully the next few weeks will be the same for us 🙂
Ohh really? I’ve never heard this before so it’s quite interesting! Wondering if anyone else has heard the same? Xx

Im 13 weeks and Im still dropping I think from what ive read it can take 3-6-12 months for final results. Sometimes i think I can feel them beginning to push out or at least this is what I think Im feeling.. I was advised not to get to many bras by my surgeon as I would change in 6 months. I had 350 mod prof plus and im measureing at 34E so hope to goodness I dont get much bigger haha

Haha wow!! I went and got measured yesterday and I’m 32E / 30F but because mine are quite wide ATM the underwire hurt loads so I think I’d need non wired for a while 😐
I can see that happening you know! When they soften they will Deffo grow more over the next few months! I was hoping for a DD as well hahaha 🙂 xx

Hi girls, I am only one week post op and I know I should trust the process but I am absolutely freaking out and afraid that I have made a huge mistake in getting my BA.
I am 44 and have had minuscule breasts all my life. I don’t have children btw. I had been thinking of a breast augmentation for years and actually went through with it a week ago. I’m having huge huge regrets though … I have myself totally worked up about it and thinking how I’ll have to get them taken out. The are a modest size but they just look and feel so so fake because I had no breast tissue to start with. I don’t think I’ll ever be ok with them even though I know people say they will settle etc. Do you have any advice for me? They are so very high and hard. My surgeon has an excellent reputation but I’m actually devastated. It is so important to me to have a natural look but these are just so high, hard and shiny. The side profile really upsets me. I am quite tall and athletic, I got 300cc unders. Can anyone with a similar starting point advise me?!!

Hi Aine, what is it you are regretting? Was this something you thought about for a while? X

    Hi Hayley,
I’m regretting having the surgery overall ? I really wanted them to look natural but it’s so difficult to imagine now that they will ever look natural.. I am probably completely panicking… I know it has only been a week but I’m worried that maybe I wasn’t suitable for a natural look as I had so little breast tissue to start with! Also because I got unders and I’m quite lean and athletic, the process may be even longer for me in terms of them dropping and setting ? it’s something I have been considering doing for years and can’t believe I actually did it though…. I know I should just trust the process but I can’t stop thinking about it ??

    Hello everyone

Im new to this and have no idea what im doing!

I had my ba 2 days ago and currently freaking out the way they look. They are so swollen and high i feel like an alien ?. Is this normal? I dont like them very much right now.

Will they start to look more natural and drop a bit? X

Aine I’m 12DPO and felt the same by day 5! Also have pain in left where as right is fine so worried I have an issue…
But to reassure you, my friend’s daughter is 7 weeks post op with same implants as you. They now look completely natural….the have dropped and fluffed and you can barely tell! It’s a long process so take each day as it comes.

    Vicky,
Thank you so much for that ? it’s really helpful and reassuring to hear that… I suppose there’s also an element of guilt with me, in the sense of thinking I should just have been happy with what I had!! But I actually do feel a bit better about it today and all the support on these forums and hearing that others have felt the same really helps!! I hope your pain dissipates over the coming days and that you are very happy with your outcome too!

Hi when do any of you first go to get measured for bra size? I’m 3wpo today and dying to see what I measure at now all the swelling has more or less gone down, little nervous they are still quite small as they don’t look any different in my clothes if anything smaller with this compression bra on. Hopefully that’s due to the bra and they will fluff out a lot more 🙂

    Hey jess!
Don’t panic they will settle! Here’s mine in the space of about a week, I’m currently just over 3 weeks post and they are getting softer by the day xx

Ladies, don’t panic! I’m 3 months post op and mine are still dropping. I was an empty 34b to begin with and had 375cc unders and went up to 34DD They felt so high and tight for ages. Don’t forget you have all of the support from the sports bra holding them in place. Gravity will soon kick in as your skin starts to stretch out. Mine feel so natural now compared to even a few weeks ago. You’ll get there!
