Drug free finally!!!

I was told yesterday at my post op appointment to only to take paracetamol or codermal for whenever I’m in pain now as I finished my weeks course and I hate swallowing tablets with a passion!! But now I’m in a different type of pain I don’t know if I had an allergy to one of the drugs that was prescribed to be but I have aloud of ulcers All over my tongue I’m currently treated it with bonjela but has anyone else had this problem????

Sounds like oral thrush from antibiotics Hun x you can buy treatment over the counter at your Local pharmacy x

@hannah thank you my mom said it might be thrush but I do need to get something for it uncomfortable and painful.

Hi babe I’m a dental nurse & that doesn’t sound like oral Thrush, it’s more likely you’ve had an allergic reaction if you’ve got ulcers on your tongue or it could also be the stress of it all!! Hope you’re okay, they usually clear up in its own but salty mouth rinse is always helpful to get rid of them xx

@beth hi Beth I mean my tongue isn’t yellow at all it’s the normal pinky colour but as you have just said it can be because of an allergy or just taking the strong antibiotics for a week it’s just that some of my tastebuds are very raised and sore like ulcers do you think it could be my umuine system could be weakened going thought the stress as you said of going through an operation?? More likely to be codine ‘ i had it for the first time when i was ill and my tongue swelled and was hot witha rash could b that xx

@demi oh no that’s awlful it could be yes and it could be anything that was in those drugs I was taking.
