    Hiya,

I am due for a breast lift and implants in feb and am extremely nervous! has anyone had this done and if so what was the pain like? was it manageable or any regrets?

I’m really unhappy with the way mine look at the moment and really want this done but I have a friend who has just had implants 2 days ago and she is in absolute agony today saying she now regrets it completely which has swayed me a bit.

I work an office job too, my PA said she has had the same thing done and went back to work after 4 days, how long did it take for you?

    I’m 22 years old, 5″8 and 13 stone 9.

    Thank you xx

Hi Neva, I’m 4 weeks post op and had implants and an uplift. I found the pain to be bearable. When I say still I didn’t feel anything, only when I moved about. I could have taken 2 painkillers every 4-6 hours but I only ever took 1. The first few days are the worst but it did get better. I had to move in with my mum as I live alone and I couldn’t do simple things like lift a kettle, open the fridge etc. Everyone is different but I am a bit of a wuss and I honestly found it ok. I would do it again no problem and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. I was really tired though for about 3 weeks. Personally I don’t think a week then back to work would be enough, I needed atleast 2 and the nurses suggested this also. Feel free to add me etc, hope this helps x

Thank you so much, that’s very reassuring my main concern is the time off of work as I can only have a week and don’t want to be in agony on my return! xx

Hiya I had and uplift and implants on 7 Dec 2016 with dr traynor. I was extremely nervous, and I got through it. It is painful, but u no what it is bareable. I think the worst bit is the swelling for the initial 4-5 days. U will need lots of rest. I slept so much following my op and I’m normally so active. But 7 days after my op went to work for a training day. I was sitting all day, but my brain didn’t work too well lol. So if ur take ur easy at work and u don’t have a strenuous job you’ll b fine love. Xxxx go for it it goes over quickly and you won’t look back xxxx

Oh really? Exciting! I only had my first consultation at the end of December and got a late booking slot! Have you been booked in for long? I’ve not met Dr traynor yet, meeting him on Thursday. Not sure what he’s going to say! X
