Fed up!!

So I’m 7 weeks post op I’ve had a few problems with one of my insiicions after my son kicked me and knocked a stitch out. It weeped for a while then healed and done the same again but now it’s turned into fluffy green stuff and it is absolutely awful! I seen my nurse and she said it would just heal but it seems to be getting worse not better I even took myself to the walk in to get swabs to see if it’s infected which I’m 99% it is even a nurse from work said it defiantly is and needs anti biotics so I’m still waiting on results. I’ll attach a picture but don’t look if your cockily because it’s awful. Has any girls had this problem or anything similar am fed up with it my other incision is perfectly healed and can barely see the scar 7 weeks on I want the same for the other! I had a great experience with Mya but the after care is absolutely horrific xxx

Hi Hun sorry to hear you have been having problems I’m not a nurse or an expert but my sister had the exact same thing she was put on antibiotics straight away she was told that the infection could spread to the breast pocket that holds the implant and if this happens she would have to have the implant removed for 3momths thankful the antibiotic sorted it out and it looked so much better just after a week you shouldn’t have to wait for results they should have gave them you soon as you noticed it really have you been to your doctor? Also my sister used antiseptic wipes on hers twice a day hope you get sorted out and get to enjoy your new boobs 🙂 x

i would go back and get them to have another look just to be on the safe side. Teghan is such a good nurse, i would recommend her from my experience with her xx

Omg Claire this has petrified me but thankyou! Tell me about it they should of put me on anti biotics straight away I’m fed up with it I love my new boobs but just can’t be happy til this disappears. It’s been going on 5 weeks now xxx

I’m having a re op on Monday 🙁 they might even have to keep them out for a while I’m heart broken

Thankyou my lovelys!! I’ve had the worst day my implant has now ruptured I’m in quite a lot of pain now and heaviness I can’t get the wound to stop weeping I’m so nervous for tomorrow I really hope they can replace it tomorrow and not have to wait xxx

o no this is awful u poor thing! did the infection start after your stitch came out or before ? xxx

It started after! I’ve had one breast removed I still have the drain in from yesterday waiting on seeing the surgeon again now as he thought he could replace it in 8 weeks til he seen what was inside I’ll keep you posted!! Xx
