So I’m booked in on Monday at pall mall, I still don’t have my app time……and I keep reading that everyone who has had an uplift & implant had stayed over in the hospital??? I’ve been told to book a hotel to stay which I only found out I had to a week ago. Is this normal? I have no idea & now I’m panicking!!! Help xx
You need to phone up the clinic or your patient coordinater as you really should of been given an admission time by now. Uplift would require an overnight stay and unless they are reimbursing you for the hotel I would be seriously upset and not happy to go ahead as it’s a lot of money to not get the proper aftercare! I had a nurse taken my blood pressure through the night and I had a cannula in with an iv drip and drains so seems ridiculous that you wouldn’t be in overnight with the clinic? Definitely call/email and hound until you get answers!!
Hi Gemma, I was at Pall Mall and I was in overnight. The staff there are amazing! I had such a good experience there. The rooms are lovely too, all en suite. Enjoy xx
Thanks ladies. I called them & I am staying over. The nurse I had made a huge mistake, so I will be making a complaint! She told me to book a hotel close as that’s where I’d have to stay. But it’s all sorted now. Glad to hear you had a great experience Christie! One more sleep…..can’t believe it! How many days/weeks po are you now? xxx
