So my surgeon post op check up is on Monday, I’ll be 17 weeks post op by the time I see Mr Singh.
Just feeling really down that my boobie journey is coming to an end. It’s been the most amazing experience and can’t thank Mr Singh and MYA enough! I now have the boobs I’ve always wanted which has helped me gain the confidence I needed, I’m now happy with my body (even though I’ve put on half a stone!)

Anyone who is starting their journey…yes, there are ups and downs, wondering if you’re doing the right thing etc. Just keep on thinking about the reasons why you are doing it. Parents and/or partners not agreeing they’ll get over it and if they don’t, at the end of the day it’s your body and so its your decision. No one should have an influence in your decision. Some people have more pain than others, again just remember what you now have, compared to what you did have and that it’ll all be worth it in the end. Don’t worry too much as to what they look like in the first few weeks, they change soooo much! Each week you’ll see a huge difference. You’ll be surprised as to how much you’ll find is actually normal after you’ve had your BA like; your skin feeling like bubble wrap, one boob dropping faster than the other, boobs softening at different paces and in different places, hearing squidgy noises from your boobs or armpits. General anaesthetic, I’ve never been to hospital before and so this was the first time I’d ever been put under. I was scared, but it was no where near as bad as I thought. Just think of happy thoughts like buying new bras, wearing those sexy deep plunge dresses you’ve always wanted to wear….it helped me to get through. One last thing, they’re not as fragile as you may think, but don’t over do it anyway. Best way to a speedy recovery, is rest and lots of it.
Good luck to all you girls looking to have a BA and wishing you a speedy recovery to all who have already had yours done 🙂

I’ve accepted Hun. It’s such a mixture of emotions. when you’re there in 2 weeks Katie, sat in your hospital bed in the most fashionable attire you’ll ever wear, just keep thinking that in a couple for hours you’ll have what you’ve alway wanted 🙂 I couldn’t wait to go down to theatre, practically ran out of my room xx

Hello what a nice post. I’m still researching wondering whether to take the plunge or not. I hate my boobs more so now I’ve had kids and confidence gone out of the window. I’m also mid 30’s and wondering is it worth it, would my money be spent better elsewhere… Oh decisions decisions. Your post as urged me on a bit more! Oh what to do. I’m more scared of going under if honest 🙁

Add away. I love then to bits so don’t really mind showing them off lol. I’ll be putting new pics up at the end of the week when I’m actually 17 weeks.
Emma if its what you want and what you feel will make you happy then go for it! Life is too short. I know how you feel about going under, but the staff I had at Highgate were amazing, so reassuring and friendly they really put me at ease. After going to a private hospital for the first time and experienced how well I was looked after, I’ve taken out private medical insurance for the works! There really is nothing to worry about, about being put under GA, before you know it you’re asleep, you’re awake again. Feel free to ask any questions ladies, Ill be more than happy to help and share my experience. xx
