I had my surgery this morning at 10am. I had a 8am admission and it felt like two minutes and I was in the surgery (first one). I’m really scared of injections but the staff at Preston couldn’t of been anymore accommodating. I had been sick a few times today but now I’m officially fine. It is normal to feel sick but is the sickness tablet does not work, they suggested me to have the injection in my bum and I refused (couldn’t of had another one). I ended up being better though!

My best advice is to relax. It’s easier said than done but as soon as you tense up that’s when the pain really starts to hurt! I would make sure you tell the nurses and coordinators every little thing you’re worried about as they really try to accommodate you the best they can. I was realised at 2:30 after a long nap (would of been earlier but I was knackered) x
