    Hi Girls,
I have a day case on 23rd jan and my PC told me most girls stop over in the Holiday Inn Hotel near by. Does anyone know if the parking is included in the room booking fee?

Depending on what time my admission time is , if its early we will drive and stop in the hotel however, if its a mid morning time i will catch the train there and back from Birmingham same day.

I would just call the hotel & ask if the parking is included & then if you decide to stay overnight you will know 🙂
i don’t think you get your admission time until a few days before & the hotel may be booked by then but you could always take the risk xx

If i was you i wouldnt get the train back, someone could bump into you, you could have a bad reaction to the anasetic, and the list goes on. I stayed at the hospital and was so glad i didnt have to gt in a car that day xxxx im not even sure if you would be allowed to get a train xx

yeah if they knew you wouldn’t be allowed. it says no public transport and you should really stay within an hour of the hospital. i’m staying at my aunties in london just be to on the safe side. i saw last week one girl on here left to go back to her hotel and kept passing out so had to be admitted again. you never know how you’re gonna react x

True busy line birmingham to london. I am thinking of getting my mom to drive me there and back same day so we only need to pay the parking and congestion charge (so broke) lol… my PC did say its up to you whether you go home or not…
I have had GA before as a child though , again another risk I might have to take. How do you even pay congestion charge lol xx

Online you pay congestion .. It’s free on the weekend though. Be aware thAt you may have a 7am admission time which is why I stayed in London night before op! London traffic is a nightmare! The nurses will tell you you need to stay within a hour of fitzroy after op though but like I said I didn’t but that’s my own decision I just said I was xx I just wanted my own bed x
