    Hello everyone,

So today is my surgery day so I thought I would document it, as I’m having a full uplift without implants and I found it really hard to find experiences of girls who had an uplift without implants. Admission time is 1pm and I am leaving in 30 minutes! Had my last meal at 6:30 and I’m already starving!!

I’m currently a 34 E and expect to go down to a D/DD after surgery. I lost 3st in weight a couple of years ago and before then i was a HH cup, so you obviously gravity and stretching did it’s thing haha! I initially had my heart set on an uplift with implants (because I do like the rounded look!) but both the surgeons I saw said it’s not advisable because my skin tone is not great (have quite a few stretch marks and it generally doesn’t feel very strong) so they would sag within a couple of years. But my surgeon assured me that he can give me the full look as I have enough breast tissue 🙂

I’ll attach my before pic, taken about 10 mins ago (and sorry about the nips, I couldn’t be bothered/don’t have time to edit them out, and we are all adults here!). As you can see, my nipples point completely downwards and from the side I feel like you can see my chest muscle and THEN my boobs start.

I’m so excited and I can’t wait until it’s all done! Woooooo!

I’m all done! Went down about 5:45pm and was back in my room at 8:30ish! I feel really good, when I woke up I was still on the op table and they moved me to recovery – I was shivering so much but not from the cold (I was actually super cosy with the heated blanket which was loooovely). Before they had trouble putting the IV in my hand so I have a whack off bruise but the anaesthesiologist ended up putting it in my arm. Don’t remember falling asleep but I just started cracking up because I could feel my arms and legs going funny hahahah! When I woke up I was super awake, even my best friend who was here said “you are buzzing” hahahah. Everyone said op went really well and I finally got some water (omg it was amazing, I’m on my third jug) and food and now I have my fluids on and the pain isn’t too bad! Just some stinging in the breast fold which is worse when I move but if I’m really still I can’t really feel it!! They feel super high from the strapping, can’t wait to see them! Now I have the true crime channel on and gonna see if I drift off (but to be honest I feel like I can’t sleep from all the time excitement!!!)

Sleep update… it’s 2:07am and I cannot sleep! I am so tired I can’t keep my eyes open but as soon as I start drifting off I jolt awake because it feels like I’m going to fall off the bed when I’m really not (weirdest feeling ever). And then if it isn’t that it’s the weird leg sleeve pump they put on to prevent DVT which comes on every now and then and makes a noise and gets tight around my leg hahah! Have been for a wee with the help of the lovely nurse where I left a little bit of my dignity but wasn’t as bad as I thought, no dizziness, just a little stinging from moving. I actually think I handled GA so we’ll! Pain is getting a little bit worse but nothing terrible. Just want to sleep hahaha! DREADING the drain coming out as I acccidentally pulled on them a tiny but a couple of times and it is soooooooo gross and weird…

Thank you for the updates! I think I’m just has excited to see them as you are!
I’ve heard the drains comming out is uncomfortable but extremely quick and over with before you know it! A minute of discomfort is worth a life time with new perky boobies :)! xx

Hi girls! I made it through the night (I think the longest I slept uninterrupted was 30 minutes though :() and I’ve had my IV and drains out – didn’t hurt one bit! It was super quick, I was so worried before and psyched myself out! Now I’ve been able to go to the loo without any tubes and get some stuff from my bag! Just got my medication to take home as well and called my dad to come and get me so hopefully he will be here in a couple of hours 🙂 feeling really good apart from the dull pain (if you can even call it that, more like stinging) underneath. I can’t remember if I mentioned it but my throat hurt so much last night, felt like I was swallowing razors, but after some tea and breakfast it’s much better now! Still feels super weird that it’s done!! Excited to hear about both of your experiences! X

Oh and get yourself all kinds of wipes – they’re a life saver when you sweat through the night, and not to be TMI but fresh underwear felt like I was reborn hahaha!

I bet you can’t wait to get yourself home and at least try and sleep! Have you had to sleep sat up ? I think maybe the breathing equipment for the op might have irritated your throat :/ nasty but glad you’re feeling better this morning!
And thanks for the heads up, going to pack a plenty of wipes and fresh underwear now haha! I’ve got my surgeon consultation on Thursday so hopefully I can book in and start the countdown!
Feeling so much more exited now I’m following your journey, were pretty much in the same boat! I lost 3 stone and thought losing weight would solve my problems, wasn’t prepared for it to create to brand new droopy ones on my chest ha! xx

Hey sweet! Just wondering how you’re getting on a few days on post op?

Hey Emily! I’ve been doing well! Things are definitely on the mend. I got discharged the next morning, the dressings were clean and there was no blood, and have pretty much been stationed in bed since haha. Pain hasn’t been bad, even if I don’t keep up on the meds it’s just like stinging and the occasional surprise shooting pain the the nip (super weird haha). I’ve had a bit of itching under the strapping which i can scratch lightly at the top where it’s thin but there’s nothing worse than an itchy nip 🙁 Couple things that have been driving me crazy – sleeping propped up – my bum is so numb and it’s been giving me sciatic pains in my leg, which the compression stockings didn’t help. I had the pain in my leg and through after everything i also had DVT… But it was fine and it’s much better now that I’ve stopped wearing the socks during the day and just wear them at night – I’ve been walking around the house a bit more instead. Also – the constipation… I’ve only JUST managed to go for the first time since my admission time (1pm on Sunday) so I feel like I’m making progress with a little help from laxatives. I have been looking like Beyonce in her twins pregnancy reveal haha, it’s actually super weird to see myself like that…

The big reveal is on Saturday! I booked it at my pre-op appointment 6 weeks ago and I had as my surgery was on Sunday I had the choice of either Saturday or Monday – of course I picked Saturday, also because I am supposed to be back to work on Monday (I have an office job so even now I think it will be absolutely fine). Now I am a little bit worried that they haven’t had enough time in the strapping but then I have to remind myself that I’ll wear the Macom over the top and they’ll have dressings on so it will be like the same thing. I am super excited to see them in all their glory. When i got a little peek on Monday, it was really surreal because they’re my boobs but they don’t look like my boobs. Like my chest is having an identity crisis you know? I’ll post pictures as soon as they’re out! 😀 xx

Karleen – let us know how you get on today! Soon exciting good luck!!! xxx

I’m so glad it’s going well for you! I had the same op and from a similar starting place as you so I know the boob identity crisis feeling! Still feels like I’m in the wrong body and I’m going to wake up to my old saggy boobies haha xx

Hey babe! It’s the big day for you isn’t it :)!!! Hope you’ve managed to go to the toilet properly now, there is absolutely nothing worse than feeling like queen b’s preggo photo shoot haha!
I’m in an office job too so hopefully we’ll be absolutely fine just pressing keys all day!
I’ve booked for 7th Feb for mine, 97 days to wait :(!
Cannot wait to see you after pictures, especially after the sneak peak you had ! xx

Thanks Emily! I’m back a year work now hence the slow reply. To be honest I loved having a week off with people waiting on me but I am adjusting back now haha! I’m not going to lie, a couple of days ago I had a major crisis with sleeping upright, I just felt like I could not do it, my bum hurt (I have issues with pain in my tailbone anyway, from falling down the stairs years ago and it’s just making it so much worse) but I’ve been very creative with how I try to take the pressure off my bum, so sometimes I’ll sleep almost kneeling, which sounds weird but helps, or put a neck pillow under my bum so that my tailbone is kind of floating (again, super weird but desperate times!). There are times where I am just desparate to cuddle into my pillow on my side!!! But other than that I’ve been sleeping through the night and it’s all worth it!

Currently in the very unglamorous stage where I have cleavage acne, strapping glue EVERYWHERE (spent half an hour picking it off today) and my boobs are shiny; which I heard is normal but still weird haha!

My friend had hers done by mr traynor and they look amazing! Definately made a good choice! It’s going to be here before you know it eeeek!! Xx

Hi ladies, thought I would do an update! Had my second post op appointment with the nurse and I am now dressing and tape free! Attaching pics below! They have some settling to do but just wow… I absolutely love them and cannot believe they are on my chest!! The scars look a bit grim but I think they’re really neat, and even if they were to stay this red and raised forever I still love them! I hated my before boobs so much that the scars were never even a question in my mind for one second xx

I know this is over a year old!
But so glad I’ve seen your post, I’m booked in for Apr for an uplift with Dr Tsekouras but he’s using a reduction technique (no implants) I also have stretch marks and very thin skin.
Mine are pretty much identical to how yours were before so I’m super excited to get them done!!
How were the scars after everything settled?

    Menu

I would also like an uplift like yours! How are they a year on? All healed? What are the scars like now?

Kasia I really found your posts inspiring, I’m in the same position now as you were in at the beginning would really like to see how they ended up as I’m so worried at this point whether to get them done.
