General anaesthetic

Hi girls. I’ve booked my surgery for July and I’m excited but I’ve been waking up in the night worried I’ll die from the GA. I understand how silly that is because I’ve had it before and I am healthy and have no health conditions but I can’t stop worrying about it because I’ve got children and it makes me feel guilty. Had anyone else felt the same and how do I overcome it?

Hi ..I was exactly the same I had my surgery on the 5th and I was so scared worked myself up.I have two little girls too so I over worried but honestly it was fine and so quick and you wake up feeling like you’ve had a really nice sleep.
Try not to worry I know it’s hard but it’s over before you know it xxx
