Getting your boobs wet?

Im just wondering how long it normally is you have to wait before you can get your boobs wet after surgery?

I got a tummy tuck but I’m sure it’s 2 weeks that’s what it is for me anyway – hate it x

I think it is usually 7 days, for me it was 9 as when I went for my 1 week post op appointment I had a small dressing put over the stitches for an extra two days. But you have to wait 6 weeks to fully submerge them – have a full bath/go swimming x

I’ve been told i’m allowed to shower after 48 hours as long as i avoid getting the dressing/stitching wet best as i can, then use a cold setting on hair dryer to dry off the dressing straight after. Just speak to your coordinator about it for advice.
